Maybe Mayweather really has had a falling out with 50 and doesn't want him to profit off of the fruits of his labour...maybe he feels he doesn't need 50 to make it happen.

50 is saying Floyd is in no urgency and doesn't take the business end seriously as he is to busy enjoying his money, where as 50 cent s a very organized guy. I don't know the specifics of this. But I would guess Mayweather sees Pac as his last big money fight before he retires, and he wants as much money from it as possible. If negotiations are not going his way in some respect, he will withdraw from the talks. He's just too addicted to money, and won't let anyone else have control over the fight.

This is true. Though in the interview, it almost sounded like he made the company just for that fight. I got that impression too, but then why would he take the time to build a roster? Also, Gamboa was let go pretty easily by TR. Either 50 paid a hefty amount to buy him out or Arum has something to do with this.
