Andre Ward rises four spots from No. 6 to No. 2 with his spectacular TKO victory over Chad Dawson, who drops out of the ratings from No. 12. The shake-up means Manny Pacquiao, Sergio Martinez and Nonito Donaire each drop one spot. Dawson's departure elevates Orlando Salido, Abner Mares and Carl Froch one rung -- and enables 47-year-old Bernard Hopkins to rejoin the list at No. 15.

None of that happened, what I saw was Pacquiao miss a very large portion of his punches, fight in spurts and lose the championship rounds. Not really an impressive showing considering Bradley had no legs either. The bold is just hilarious.
Last time Manny did anything of value was when he dominated Clottey, and Clottey is someone who's lost all his biggest fights.
Normally I agree with alot of your posts but damn
Your blind if you think Bradley won that or if u think it was even close
The MOST i could give bradley is 4 rounds and thats being generous
His legs were gone?
I didnt see him even limp, I saw his foot buckle but I didnt even see abit of a limp...
They said he broke his foot, I broke my ankle/ligament damage on sunday, and it wasnt even as bad as previously...But I couldnt walk for the next 10 minutes
Theres no way he did something that serious to his foot in that fight
Joke of a list. Ward should be number 1 not Floyd.
You can't have a fighter who gets in the ring once a year holding the number 1 spot when Andre Ward goes through the super six, wins it and fights Dawson on his return (and had a lay off only due to injury).
And he's already discussing his potential next opponents.
p4p ranking are people opinion , thats it.... My opinion
1. Pac
2. May
3. Ward
ACtually SI isn't just one person's opinion. They have a panel that votes. So manny people that had manny as one or two moved Ward up based on the quality of his wins. WHy anyone would have a problem with that now is startling.

any objective person would realize manny should have fallen from #2 either because he officially beat JMM and lost to Tim or unoffically lost to JMM and beat Tim. No offense to manny fans, but these fights were a ww fighting a LW and a JWW moving up. Any publication that values integrity would remove manny when you take everything into consideration.
If Ward were to beat a Pascal at 175 or before the end of the year, you could argue he deserves consideration for the #1 spot.
No disrespect, but you're clearly a fanboy.
Martinez hasn't in any way, shape or form fought the level of opposition that Ward has.
In fact, both Williams and Pavlik were both defeated before Martinez ever faced them.
Quintana laid out the blueprint to beat Williams and Martinez and Lara copied it.
Pavlik was on the verge of becoming an full-time alcoholic after his loss to BHOP.
Both Williams and Pavlik were questionable commodities at the point when Martinez fought them.
The shameful way that both Barker and Macklin did so well while clearly being C fighters at best showed a decline in Martinez that led some in his camp to express concern about his ability to compete at the top level.
I like Martinez, but without the Williams and Pavlik fights he would still be in obscurity.
That's the truth and if you don't like it .. respond by providing any win he's had before or since that would have him even in the top 15.
Martinez has had the opportunity to move up into a division where there is actually more than one live dog to challenge. Martinez refuses .. instead opting to wait for a fight against Mayweather or Pacquiao .. who are WWs.
Sorry, but Martinez doesn't deserve to be in the top 5 either. Look at his opponents since Williams and Pavlik and it tells the story.
^^^^^^ this exactly
Like that what their ratings say matters...lol! Maybe we could have the SI belt to add to all the others bullshlt trinkets!
Oh but when mentioning accolades, 6 weight class division championships counts.. right..
manny has not looked dominant lately. I won't say he's on peds bc i dont know he hasnt tested positive, but he has been a different fighter as of late, manny on paper look elite manny in the ring ehhh not so much
I'm really not surprised. The bar is different when it comes to Paqciao. I gotta admit he set it too high. Paq has to massacre his opponents, cut off the ring and do all these acrobatic things. Plus he has to make things happen while the challenger only has to run, cover himself, backpedal and survive the rounds. He dominated huge guys like Clotty and Mosly, won all rounds, and fans were still not impressed and say he's slowing down. In contrast, Floyd only has to look pretty, stay in one spot and expected to UD his opponent. Marques, for instance, was forced to be the aggressor in their fight. What's ironic is this is the Pacman whom they call overrated. So now I expect fans to expect Paq to lose and lose badly in his next fight. Funny that Mayweather is still not stepping up. Where tf is he?

LOL, you are ****ing hilarious, goes to show how you're a joke.
What happened to your drug testing crusade?
LOL
Yeah cos dominating 1 of the best 'up and comers' who is undefeated isnt good at all
Manny battered tim bradley....N we all know it
Manny isnt even what he used 2 be, stamina gone and he still dominated Bradley

Did he really? Really?
Not according to the judges he didn't.
And what makes it so bad is that Bradley isn't even a WW, but you're bragging about Manny supposedly beating him at WW.
That's sad.
LOL at the hypocrisy, and what weight did Ward beat Dawson at?
