thats what chavez wants people to believe. He is a joker. Remember when he put on the wig and was portraying canelo.
I don't see it after watching it again. I can't see a fighter agreeing to do that to themselves; imagine training 'for fake' in the living room and then going to train again. That would definitely mess with my head.
I think the pressure of the fight is getting to him.
Chavez doesn't have the skill; he throws wide punches either way.
I couldn't believe my eyes, Chavez Jr is a princess! not showing up to train, and training whatever he feels is convenient? I mean .. dude? WTF? this is the biggest fight of your career and your treating it like a sparring match?
Jr failed, and like Sergio said he doesn't deserve that title! and he proved it tonight. I can't wait to see the title go back to it's rightful owner!!
This isn't some new knock on JCC Jr. this is a long running theme, it is a shame really because he has shown a good amount of natural ability more than I thought he had.
As he is now he will never get the most out of his talents, I don't think he beats Sergio but even if he does it is only a matter of time before he falls on his face.
He seems so lazy and spoiled. He wakes up when he wants to, trains when he wants to. They move the furniture out of the way so he can train in the living room for f*cks sake. It just seems crazy that the biggest fight of his life and hes training like this. I'm leaning more towards sergio now.
If this were a Pacquiao fight, I'd say maybe,. In this fight, it doesn't need that spin. The WBC took Sergio's title to give it to baby Chavez Jr. who is untested. All they have to do is show how SErgio and Chavez are both working hard because nobody thinks Chavez is proven.
But I will re-watch the 24/7 to try to decide whether it was genuine and real laziness. Lol.

Thats just the spin HBO is putting on him.

Not as bad as junior.... but Pac's always showing up late to almost anything. Yea he trains hard though, not arguing that.
Amir is just constantly distracted.... always posting twitter pics and facebook pics of him out doing senseless stuff while he's supposed to be in training camp. Yea I know an event once in a while is fine... but he's going to multiple events like fashion shows and clubs.
Both train hard, but both riddle themselves with distractions
Yah both guys do have a bunch of distractions outside of the ring, I think even more so for PAC now with his religious preaching stuff added to his already busy schedule.. But yah when they're training it seems like they put 100% in ..Chavez jr needs to get focused tho.. Can't afford to be slacking for his biggest fight.
Are u sure about PAC and Amir?...both guys seem to train hard as he'll. I mean PAC didn't get where he is today by slacking off like jr.

I don't care when he wakes up or trains, the fights are at night anyhow, but when he trains it has to be with a World Class, Hall Of Fame trainer, not just whoever is around.
He needs every ounce of knowledge he can squeeze out of Freddy Roach, otherwise he just has a punchers chance.
What was really sad was to see his dad up watching fight tapes, and to see how excited he was about it, Jr doesn't have that same passion.
And another thing: His trainer should be the one to decide if he needs a day off or not, I'm sure he knew the work he was putting in and if Roach felt he'd done too much he'd have him take the day off. It's really not a decision for the fighter to make.
wtf was he doing in that one clip in his underwear eating frosted flakes?
damn, never knew frosted flakes was a good food to be eating when you're trying to get into optimal fighting shape LOL. Someone teach this kid please....
I was roflmao over that.

This is going to be such a car wreck. Jr is already tired and peaked to soon. He's completely ill prepared...one dimensional and untalented/awkward. He has no chemistry with his trainer and has been a total no show...Roach probably wants to see him get his ass kicked at this point. On the other-hand Martinez looks great and I think he is going to really enjoy punishing Jr.
Jr was right...Senior should be fighting Martinez...he looks much better prepared.
Before I was 100% sure sexy was beating this punk Chavez . Now I'm 200% sure of that . What a lazy f.uck. he's father trying to teach him and not paying attention!!!
His three big ones got that mentality.
Pac
Amir
JCC Jr.
