What's the ring size? I would assume that Las Vegas rules would prevail, and it'll be a standard sized ring on Sept. 15th. However, knowing Top Rank and Chavez, is there any way they somehow get a play pen for the fight? Do we know for sure?
A small ass ring changes the fight immensely.
Apparently you're not a Mensa. What if the situation were reversed and Martinez scored a giant, boundaryless field to fight in? See how that might hurt your slow-plodding retarded idol? What if Martinez added a rule to the fight that Chavez couldn't go to the body? What if Martinez limited the amount of weight Chavez can put back on after the weigh-in? I could go on and on. You dumb little biyatches would be crying and you know it.
Ring size matters, period. There's zero reason to respect a fighter if, in order to beat another fighter, he has to change the standard ring size. GTFO. I own you dumb b1tches for real.
Somebody's asking to be banned, lol.
Isn't ring size stipulated when they are draqwing up the contracts? Dibella isn't goiing to let his guy fight in a pack-n-play and Arum wouldmt let Jr fight in a football field. If the ring is somehow smaller in dimension I'm sure Martinez would know and he would be able to procure a ring of that size with his connections certainly.
Yeah. This is what I was thinking and it'll be good if this is the case. No special treatment for either fighter. I think the fight is great as long as it's fair. I do give Chavez a tiny shot, if Martinez slips up and makes mistakes. I don't think Chavez can beat Martinez if Martinez is 100%.
Thats how it should b fair 4 both fighters go by the rules n let the better man win. Someone with Chavez size advantage is always gonna have a chance, but I agree I think Martinez will take it
Las Vegas is 20ft I believe. So unless the athletic commission allow them 2 change it (like Texas did) then it should be 20ft. I think las Vegas is more strict wih rules tho, in the mayweather cotto fight they said it had 2 10 gloves as that was the rules.

Standered Everlast ring in Vegas is a SQ 20' there used to be a few rings known as the Ali rings hahaha 22'!!!!!(hardly any apron left)
This fight should have a 17'sq!!!! A 20' is over used and if you want action than use a 17' you can also make the flooring hard to favor the boxer and the 17sq can atleast give the puncher a chance to fight a little more often instead of chasing some guy around the ring for 12 rounds! Ray.
..........I'm rooting for a competitive bout that has action and has a winner that earns his victory, plus both men are safe.
Da ring size is a set size per the council, not da fightaz. Dis fight ain't happenin in Texas, dis is goin down in Vegas.
Ring size is contracted and dealt with like every other element .
You mean like Manny forcing a 26 ft ring on Margo , as if the CW and 8oz gloves wasnt enough , but your absolutely right when speed verses power the bigger the ring the more advantage it is to the speed fighter .

You've been angered to the point where you're relying on personal insults and attacks. You're excused.
Yeah, I'm so wrong.

Who says hes my idol, Initially I was rooted for Martinez but I seen some things that made me believe Chavez can win.
IF chavez loses im not gonna cry about any damn ring size, or anything the better man won. The better man means just that the better man.
If martinez is not crying about ring size, then you shouldent either.
You seen some things? What was that?
Of course you won't cry about ring size if Chavez loses. You can't whine about a standard-sized ring. And if he loses in a phone booth, wow, prepare the alt. Have you already made it?
Martinez might not be, but he wants the fight and may have been willing to sacrifice things in order to get it. That's partly his fault, of course. But it doesn't change the fact that Chavez felt he had to get a tiny ring in order to beat Martinez.
Apparently you're not a Mensa. What if the situation were reversed and Martinez scored a giant, boundaryless field to fight in? See how that might hurt your slow-plodding retarded idol?

Except in this particular fight the ring size really doesnt matter. Chavez isnt exactly great at cutting off the ring and martinez doesnt exactly prance around the ring like a princess.
Chavez will come forward the whole fight and martinez will let him because he's a counterpuncher.
The differencemakers will be which fighter will be able to put combos together and who can hurt who with a single punch. Not ring size.
