Yea, it's funny seeing the contrast from then and now
Is like he is collecting fighters like barbie dolls, he has them just to look at them, nobody is active nobody getting any good fights .
omg Lundy lost last week!! He will never amount to anything in this sport ever....EVER!
It's not just last week. The guy is an entertaining fringe contender, and that's about the best he can be.

Why are you hating on a fighter who always comes to fight and puts on entertaining scraps? Boxing needs to change this one loss and your a bum attitude. Within reason on any day a fighter can lose to a fighter. It's good for a fighter to lose a few fights, they will never improve unless they are forced to change certain parts of their game.
Hank Lundy is a Khan waiting to happen. A chinny dude who likes to bang it out. Once he stops fighting the Dannie Williams' and Beltran's. In other words, once (if ever) he gets out of ESPN he would get KTFO. If I was TMT I would not sign him but still look to match him up vs Gamboa. He would be a solid tune up/test for Gamboa at 135.
Wouldn't mind it to let Gamboa get acclimated to the weight. Gamboa would catch him and get him out of there, but Gamboa's chin always leaves an oppurtunity.
I think Dib and Caballero are enough "average fighters". No more of these B fighters please. Even Judah is a better signing than Lundy, Dib, and Caballero. They should stop signing losers altogether though, sign guys who win and are tough, and when they lose it was a tough fight, steal them from whatever promoter they're with. Like Salido, Broner, Abril? Malignaggi?, Alexander, Josesito Lopez, what about Carson Jones? Shawn Porter, etc. Guys like that. There's some B fighters there, but when they do lose they put up good efforts at least.
Celestino has had over a dozen title fights I'm sure and won nearly all. He's had 4 losses and a couple of them were split decisions, that could have gone his way. But he'sin his mid 30s so couldn't have much of a caeer left. As for Lundy it seems that probably young and not too bright fighters will want to sign because of the attraction of the (c)rapper. If they'd been keen on being close to Mayweather they would have signed with him before now. So ther'll b e young and older fighters hoping that a "new broom" will prolong their careers and.
With all due respect when you're getting dropped in every fight you have, often heavily by non-punchers & outboxed by a guy like Raymundo Beltran in your hometown its probably best you look at starting a career in something else.
That fight wasn't in his hometown.
Hank Lundy is a bum.

I can agree with that but I wouldn't say either were marquee names as well
Lucas was brought in as the b side to Soto last fight
Peterson the same
They both headlined on HBO though. Peterson against Ortiz and Khan, Matthysse against Alexander.
I think he'd be on the level of Peterson or Matthysse in terms of name value.

That's true.
A company can't just be full of elite fighters.
but I think in this case they don't really have their eyes on fielding a bunch of fighters who can do ESPN type shows they want HBO Showtime PPV type guys
Lundy as fun as he is does not fit that bill
I don't think lundy would be a bad signing at all really. He's an action fighter and he's fun to watch. He's the type of guy you can feed yo one of your top guys (gamboa) or put on one of your under cards.
