Cotto just presented one of the award at 'premios juventud' a spanish speaking award show that just average 4.1 million rating on univision. The man is on a roll right now in terms of his drawing power and aura. The win against Margarito and his preformence against Floyd took him to another level and opened a lot of eyes outside of the boxing world.
Cotto is on his way to becoming an Icon in hispanic speaking countries.
 No shit and top it off another idiot says he's the 3rd biggest draw in boxing and fights all the top guys. Talk about major fanboys.
He is th 3rd biggest draw in boxing and always fights the best dumb nuts. He aint fighting 140 pounders hahaha.
all the accolades are well deserved, hopefully cotto's career sets an example for more young up and coming fighters for them to fight anybody relevant
it was never cotto's attributes that made me a fan but the way he grew into a more complete fighter while stepping up in competition
It's absolutely amazing that he's not shot. Margarito Clottey Pac. The beatings he took in 2 of 3 of those.
A lot of fighters are completely ruined by 1 fight like that. Miguel just lost some chin, but he's still a threat.
I'd say he lost more than just the chin.

"His performance against Mayweather"???? Yes, he gave it 110% and fought like hell, but he lost 9-3/10-2 in a wide decision loss.
Just what I was gonna say.

I agree he is the 3rd biggest draw in boxing currently. He should be fighting N'Jikam at the full 160 lb limit, to make his MW title more legit.
I think he should stay away from 160 altogether
:lol1: @Ts making it seem like it was Cotto who drew all 4million people when 'premios juventud' is liteally the hispanic Teen Chouce awards where there's about 100 celebrities
