Why do British fighters tend to go down in dramatic fashion?

British fighters have traditionally been referred to as "horizontal".....so it has been since the invention of the glove :cool9: Poet Organic can't compete with GM produce.

I love the Chambers "Plank." I remember watching it @ the time on PPV and laughing hard. Especially after the tackle. There are less of our fighters in the U.S. Seeing as the majority of you guys are only aware of other countries while at war with them, when a human being from one does well it obviously draws more attention.

You know, monkey skeleton. I've had that same question too. It just comes down to them not having good defense or chins. And just not being that good. Not being that good i agree with. Not having good chins is bs.

I'd like to point out that Carl Froch was the first British boxer to medal at the amateur World championships back in 2001. Frankie Gavin managed to win gold in 2007 World championships. Britain won more medals at the 2011 World championships in Baku than they did between '01 - '11. David Haye got a silver in the same championships and Froch got a Bronze.

The massive hype they get when they are not that good in the first place. Once they fight at the highest level they get starched. Froch never got that initial hype and has gotten their by fighting and winning at the highest level. Nobody has that many top prime fighters in a row like he does. Kell Brook is getting a lot of hype without facing anybody yet Kell Brook isn't getting a lot of hype at all. A lot of people think he would beat Khan but nobody thinks he's anywhere near the best in the WW division. Being talked about doesn't = hype.
