Can't say that I do. I mean, kicking it with Floyd then acting like him?? Hell naw. Call out Rios, do not show up in his own city & then talk $h!t after he fights someone else?? Wow!!:wank:

Nothing to add......
He'll be back in the ring soon.
He handled the Rios situation perfectly in hindsight. He had a terrible deal, wanted it resolved and a little lay-off has got him free of Top Rank, job done. Can't wait for the return, the guy is one of the few really elite talents in the sport.
Seems to me that he handle his business perfectly, he got out the contract and didn't took long to settle hey Donaire try the same $h1t nd didn't go nowhere.

shameless ducker that gamboa so no :dunno:
Who is he ducking?
ducked rios and acted like a pre maddona
In light of Gamboa's recent settlement with Top Rank, it seems fairly clear that the Rios fiasco was all due to Yuri's issues with his contract. I've never been crazy about the way Gamboa handled the whole situation, but who are we to say what Yuri should or shouldn't accept in his contract? The man is a professional athlete with a limited shelf life; I don't blame him for trying to maximize his earning potential. Who's going to provide for his future and that of his family? The guys on this forum? That's a poor gamble.
Ran into him out at Vegas (Was with a friend and 2 smokin hot chicks) Mayweather/Cotto weekend. I don't speak a lick of Spanish and his boy spoke broken English, made it sound like we'd see Gamboa back in the ring sometime in July. Hopefully it is sometime soon, definitely one of my favorites.
No idea. I can't wait to see him step back in the ring though. Not that I didn't enjoy the Lopez vs Salido fights, but I really wanted to see Lopez vs Gamboa.
