like i've been saying, arum is a liar. he lies in the opposite direction when it comes to ppv. if they sold 1 million plus, he'll report they only made 800K. schaefer does the opposite. tbe makes 500K and he'll report they made 1.5 million. remember this clown schaefer even projects up to 3 million in every tbe fight. look at what happened to him. he got fired. his lies caught up with him. it didn't work. :bigeyes:

Once again, it appears fans used to care about PPV numbers whenever it suited their agenda. Actually, lets just be real about it. Pac fans love PPV numbers-except Floyd v ODH, Floyd v Cotto and Floyd v Canelo. Those are the PPV numbers they always like to clarify-ODH the undercard and Mexican fans, and cotto fanbase all drove those sales according to them so they don't count.

PPV numbers for Pac Vs Bradley were good DOE. Floyd Vs Maidana PPV buys sucked.

The Irish like boxing too, not sure how many are in the US but surely they would watch him for a title fight, but yeah Chavez has his dad's name so... Mexican's will follow him. Don't forget two big name trainers, which might help LOL. His numbers have been building nicely over time. This fight pushed the envelope namely because he was actually stepping up and it was interesting match up. HBO is perfectly capable of getting these kinds of numbers when they stop putting so many unworthy fights on PPV. For example Morales-Maidana and Hopkins-Dawson 1 would have done over 2 million viewers but instead they stuck them on PPV.

Pac and Floyd are the biggest names in the sport , 2 mill for Jnr fighting a nobody is outstanding ! That is really good but it was on a night with no NBA Finals game and on HBO meaning your not paying for a PPV. Still good though

His last record was almost 1.9 million viewers, so therefore it's safe to assume he has now cracked 2 million viewers at the minimum. I dont believe it and will wait for official , but congratulations to him if he did .

Lets be real. Someone has stopped actual PPV numbers from being released from Pac fights. I'm not saying he's selling less....I'm saying why do we have to rely on Bob Arum for numbers?
