Chavez beat another club fighter...
A 46th tried and a 46th failed.
And if you honestly believe Sergio is running from Chavez, you are quite simply a delusional retard.
Lee lost to Vanda? You mean Vera? If so, who cares? It was an early stoppage and Lee beat him in a rematch in one of his most impressive performances.
LMAO, so beating Vera is Impressive???
Lee has lost to Vanda

I started this thread because I know there'll be a heap of revisionism once Chavez violates Lee. You'll all start claiming that Lee was a bum etc, just like you do every single time he beats a hall of famer, world champion or world class contender(and he's beaten lots of them).
After this victory he'll be on course for his second consecutive fighter of the year award and surely even TheRing, with their vile prejudice against him, won't deny that he's worthy of being the #5 P4P fighter in the world, today.
45 have tried and 45 have failed. Lee can't be the first, but he will be the next.
Revisionism??? Im saying now Lee aint that great. He has very few quality wins himself. Beating Lee proves nothing. A lot of Sergio haters claim he is ducking the SMW's, Chavez is naturally bigger than Sergio and can barely make 160 anymore. If anyone at MW needs to move up and fight some SMW's, its Chavez.
Jr is "supposed" to win this fight.
Chavez should win this fight, but that will mean nothing in a fight with Sergio. Sergio has been screaming for a Chavez fight for two years now, the only thing I remember Chavez saying about Sergio is "If I fought Sergio like I fought tonight, I would lose". To claim Sergio is ducking Chavez is preposterous.
all these tijuana cab drivers sound suspiciously familiar... i think his daddy fought all em too back in the day.

You see that title in Chavez's hands, son? That means he is the best middleweight in the world and the undisputed champion. He's never fought a bum in his life.

Like i've said before, Lee is about as good as Chavez Jr. It's a 50-50 fight, neither are anything special. Neither of them have very good defense, neither of them will ever be elite. Lee has lost to Vanda, Chavez Jr has lost to Molina, and has had some other questionable decisions go his way. He also lost to Vanda on one judges scorecard, and has struggled with journeymen like Luciano Cuello, who Canelo went on to knock out in 6 rounds.
I mean this in the least disrespect possible, because I actually like Andy Lee, but this is the best example of two C class fighters going at it. Who ever wins, just beat a C class fighter.
Hey Mushybrain, what exactly does Jr have in his arsenal that would make Lee fear for his life?
It doesnt need to be mushybrain to answer the question....... The hook to the liver is gonna stop lee in 8 rounds
His body attack to be fair is fierce and although not a skill is size is a big advantage
Jr. weight gonna look like this at fight time..

:D
Come on Andy!!!!
If Lee fights smart he can win (and lose via the traditional robbery that seems to be the done thing these days)
Andy's problem has always been his stamina but if he keeps things at range he has all the skills to do it and I for one am gonna stick a tener down on the upset (and trust that there can't be yet another terrible decision). At least if Andy won we'd get lee v martinez, cause we know if Chavez comes thru the fight won't come off.
Agreed on all points.
