Andre Ward: there have been no offers to fight in Denmark or England

Andre Ward would be happy to face Carl Froch again SUPERSIX champion Andre Ward has thrown out an open invitation to Nottingham's IBF super-middleweight champion Carl Froch and Danish star Mikkel Kessler. Unbeaten American Ward says he would be "excited" at the prospect of a re-match with either fighter, who he has both previously defeated, but insists he has yet to receive an offer to fight in Denmark or England. Ward said: "I'm ready and willing to do a re-match any time, any place. I would love to fight Carl Froch totally healthy. "If he had a bad night against me, I had a bad week. I fractured my hand and had to deal with a grotesque swelling, trying to hide it from the media and the Froch camp. "I won that fight with virtually one hand. Froch talks about his devastating punches. Well, he hit me with his best shot. I ate everything he gave and dished it right back out." Ward, though, did give Froch credit for his win over Lucian Bute. "I think he put on a great performance," he said. "He won in big fashion and I congratulated him on Twitter. I think if Froch and Bute fought 100 times, Froch would win 99." Meanwhile, Kell Brook has vowed to emulate Froch when he meets IBF No.3 Carson Jones in Sheffield on July 7. "Carl's performance was just out of this world," said Brook. "Carl is the best in Britain without any doubt and a great example to any young fighter. "He is an absolute animal in training and totally professional in everything he does. He's someone I really look up to and lean on ahead of my fights. "I know the size of the task ahead. He's obviously totally confident of coming over here and beating me.
