p4p 1 vs p4p 8. Winner of fighter of the decade vs highest rated undefeated fighter not named mayweather. An american vs one of the three people that carry the sport. A solid 24/7 and previews during the NBA semi-finals which is great publicity.
With all that said this fight will flop just like clottey but will do a little better I am going to go with 850,000
Whats impresses me is most pacs PPV has a *****ty undercards but still does big numbers
while the other always gets a dance partner that is a draw and fill his undercards with stars then claim he is the cash cow :lol1:
:fing02:....................
why did pac/bradley get a "24/7 road to pac/bradley" instead of episode 1?
then they just continued with the series after "24/7 road to..."
i wonder if the suits at HBO were going to treat pac/bradley the same way they treated pac/clottey.... not commit to full 4 episodes and just do a "road to.." show.... but then ended up deciding to continue with the series instead.
unless i missed something entirely.... but yeah, the hype doesnt feel as good as floyd/cotto (obviously, due to the fanbases).
I'm not taking the Schaefer crystal ball, ie, 2.5M, then turns out to be significantly less. So I'm going 700K-800K considering there are no Mexican superstars in the undercard, not a holiday, Bradley is unknown...
I said Mayweather vs Cotto would do 1.5m and was spot on.
Bradley instead of Cotto, that is 100k
Not on any big Mexican holiday, that's another 100k
No big star on the card selling the fight (Alvarez) another 100k
So it should do 1.2m if Pacquiao and Mayweather are on equal footing.
So I'm going for 1.21m

As normal, 5 close family buys are purchasing the fight. Another 3 co-workers are definitely buying. My brother is doing a block party with two 55 3D LED TVs outside his driveway. I think the fight does close to 1mil. I also feel the same way the hype of Pacquiao has drained a little.
Let's just be ready for a "Bobfather estimate" and no official release of the numbers. I would say that it's going to crack 1M, just because Manny is fighting, but I'm not so sure.
I've already ordered it, so there's no hate coming from this end:boxing:
i said this in another post the other day, but a few of my filipino friends - die hard pac fans, of course, didn't know who the hell bradley was before they heard about this fight... kinda like the clottey fight.
just remember this before you buy-
if you buy this fight you are encouraging pacquiao and arum to continue to give us fights that we are not asking for. sure its not a bad fight, but this has gone on too long now.
