2 changes you'd make in boxings landscape?

1)A univeral boxing Organization/commission...which would have One champion per weight class, unified rules for the sport, promoters would be eliminated, less politics, and commission will do the promo 2)Bring back top level fights on CBS, NBC, network television.....save ppv for p4p champions fighting each other, or champions defending their titles against top contenders or fellow champions moving up in weight or down

I'm really surprised I'm the first to say this but take away the ppv and hbo/showtime and put all the fights on regular tv. This is one of the first things that came to mind. The sport would flourish, and wouldn't be so top heavy. But of course, those that are on the top are only interested in padding their pockets, not improving the entire sport.

- mandatory drug testing for title fights - a judges Comittee for championship fights - 2 title per weight class - more tournaments when a title is vacated I got alot more. Just the first ones to come to mind.

THey are a promotion like Top Rank and Golden Boy production but have a bigger hold on MMA then either of those 2 promotion do on boxing Its like having a Top Rank Champion. The UFC is not just a promotion, it's an organization.....The UFC has its own strict guidlines of how the sport of MMA should be managed - have their own rules, belts, fighters, etc....

The UFC is one of the largest organizations that host the sport of MMA alongside Strikeforce etc. If the sport of boxing had a unified organization like that, a lot of the problems in the sport would disappear....... it's basically impossible to implement this for every fighter; but i'd love to see long term health insurance. Just what i was thinking
