I want you to speak on this however you want, weather its mentally, physically, or what.
some say he will never fight again but thats b.s.
I think he will fight again anyways but after jail time, its pretty much a guarantee.
Speaking from experince, I honestly wouldnt be shocked if he gets more clarity after doing time. He will be in PC for atleast a month and maybe for all the time he does.
Even if he gets to gen-pop, I think most of the prisoners will be very supportive. My opinion is despite what Floyd fans say, he hasnt been all in on the Pac fight. He just hasnt. I think some of it has to do with the people around him and other things but he's never fully be all in on it.
The same goes for Pac though. I dont think Pac is scared but lets be real, if he really wanted it bad enough he could just accept the drug testing and a lesser cut. Is a lesser cut really that bad? He'll never go broke anyways and he's living in the Philippines which would end up being like he made more than Floyd anyways when you factor in cost of living.
Then you have to think about the fight. If he takes 45 or even 40 and wins, then its pretty much a lock that Floyd will want a rematch in which Pac will say NO to unless he gets a bigger cut. Dont get it twisted, Im not saying that Pac has to take the cut but if he really wanted the fight that bad, he would. Alot of guys in history would take that cut even if they were of Pac's status. They would do it just to kick Floyd's ass and they know they can make it back in the rematch.
Now back to the topic. I could honestly see Floyd being locked up in his cell for 23hrs a day and thinking alot about different things. I could see him going to gen-pop, feelin the love from the inmates, but also feeling what they all want. I could see him thinking alot and being into GOD more. It wouldnt shock me at all if he came out of this truly wanting the Pac fight for the 1st time ever.
I dont think he would fight him 1st because he will probably want one fight against Khan or Canelo to knock off the Prison rust but will then truly fight Pac afterwards. He might even go to it 1st because of everything he's been thinking off. You cant get that true boxing training but he can still do alot of working out on the inside, even if its just in his cell. There wont be any clubs or anything to go to so a workout junkie like Floyd would probably even be doing more stuff while locked up.
Floyd seems very unpredictable. Before the Cotto fight he said he would fight 6 more times over 2 years. After the Cotto fight he said he was 80% sure he would retire. He seems very cool under pressure. The jail booking photo of him looked like it was taken at a photo studeo with him just as happy as can be. Most people look horrible in those booking photos because they are so stressed out. He seems fearless and cool just as he is in the ring. I doubt they put him with the general population. I think he will be treated well and allowed some time to work out. I doubt he serves the full 90 days. 45 to 60 days seems more likely. I have no idea what effect, if any, his time in jail will have on him.He is unpredictable.
I can understand what Mayweather did was wrong. No one likes domestic abuse. But 87 days? You have to be kidding me. Does the ****ing judge know that Mayweather is a boxer? If his sentence is shortened to 30 days, Mayweather vs Pacquiao will happen this year.
he''ll never agree to fight Pac anyway
and what other fights are there for him?
Cotto had a name, just like Oscaqr did
he's not staying at JMW for anybody else
what other relevant fight is there for him but Canelo?
Oscar just said Alvarez isn't ready for Floyd so it won't happen yet
Floyd will probably sit out for another yr
Nah, I think he'll fight Khan if nothing else
I dont agree with the timeout thing but who cares. You dont think it will possibly change his thoughts on a Pac or other fights in any way

wasn't talking about physical harm
but seriously, it's jail, and jail is nothing
it's a grownup version of timeout
how would less than 3 months in jail affect him?
maybe he won't fight until next yr, but that's all
he fights sporadically on his own accord anyway

People say things like that but its not always true. Trust, there are some very bad jails and everyone in Prison has to go through jail 1st so there are still bad people.
Either way, my question wasnt about him being harmed or anything

Either way, my question wasnt about him being harmed or anythingThey do separate guys based on severity of crimes and duration of their incarceration quite a bit. If you're in jail for drunk driving they're not going to throw you in a tier with some guy on trial for double homicide.
not a damn thing
it's jail, big fucking deal
not like he's going to the pen
when his time is up he'll be right back to normal
