Cotto beat Mayweather, if you cant see that, I am sorry for you. The best thing I could see for Floyd in this fight is a draw, but I scored it as a victory for Cotto. Imagine how badly Cotto would have beaten Floyd 5 years ago? And now let's remember for a second how many guys Floyd ducked: pre-scandal Margarito, Paul Williams, prime Cotto, Casamayor, Joshua Clottey, Manny Pacquiao.......the list GOES ON AND ON AND ON.
Floyd ducked these guys for a reason. Imagine what a prime Paul "The Punisher" Williams would have done to Floyd at 147 in a Welterweight Fight? He would have smoked Floyd. Btw the only fights in which Paul Williams looked bad were against Southpaws.
One last thing: Floyd will never fight again. NEVER EVER. Cotto took his heart and his soul. He will act for a few months as if he will fight again, he will talk his usual nonsense about a Pacquiao fight (as always), he will talk about Canelo. But there is NO WAY he will ever fight again. And I say it here and now: MARK MY WORDS. You heard it from me first. Mayweather is not gonna fight again.
I like you, but since I know you are a Mayweather fanboy, I cant take your Floyd-related posts serious anymore.
Seriously man, get a life or post something worth while. Cotto did not beat Floyd, that's ridiculous, but what should anyone expect from a poster like you, who just trolls non-stop all day any day.
And if you want to say Floyd "ducked" Cotto in 08' at 147, and fought a past prime-still good Cotto in 12' at 154.....than your beloved Pacquiao "ducked" Oscar Larios in the early 00's at 122 where he was one of the Top ranked fighters, and only fought him years later when he was a non-factor at 130 lbs.
Cotto is on Floyd's resume, and Cotto didn't even push for that fight himself, and TR openly said Cotto isn't ready for Floyd in 05-06 when both were top ranked JWW's and WW's. Anyway, he fought him last Saturday when he was the WBA SWW champ and the #1 SWW in the world.
Guys don't bother discussing, raskat is cool dude, but he just doesn't change mind no matter what. Fore example he still believes that Ward lost to Bika big time.
Everyone can **** up some scoring once in a while, I can admit that I scored Lara - Williams a draw, I'll rescore it soon as I can understand maybe I had day off as I never seen anybody agreeing with my opinion on that fight. But raskat? He'll score the fight and not even let it come to his mind that he had bad day and just didn't see certain things well. So he'll stick to his one took opinion for all life. He scored 11-th draw for example, if he looked at it again I'm sure he'd see that Floyd dominated this round, because it's just clear, but he'll just not let himself admit it, he's too deep in that with all those threads now and he feels like it's better to stick it than admit truth.
You like my analisys rasky ;)?
Paul Williams was badly outboxed for 12 rounds by Carlos Quintana. Paul could not stop the same punch from landing over and over plus the movement had him reaching all over the place open for counters. This is not the stlye nor the manner in which you would beat an elite fighter like Floyd.
I already said it. Williams only had problems against southpaws. And Quintana is a southpaw.

Rasky, making those trolling threads? Seriously? You should know better than that...
I'd pick Williams to beat Floyd, but he wouldn't destroy him. Floyd knows those tricks that can disrupt fighters rythm. Paul was able to completely destroy another great defensive fighter in Winky, but Floyds not that stationary, more tricky and can do more things. I'd love to see Williams - Floyd for sure.

Paul shouldn't get credit for that Winky win at all though. He was past his prime, coming off nearly 2 years off.

well go to work do something other than posting this ridiculous crap that really has 0 to do with Williams you just wanted to say Cotto won which is beyond stupid
Cotto won this fight and Cotto is one of the guys Floyd ducked. So a post-prime Cotto beating Floyd tells me what a guy like Paul Williams would have done to Floyd. That is simple to understand. You only use logic when it favors your boy Floyd.
This clown should get banned for even saying Cotto beat Mayweather. That fight wasn't even close.
Floyd ducked Casamayor???
And Floyd has Cotto on his resume, past his prime-still good, same as your beloved Pacquiao. So if you want to talk about fighters each "ducked" at a certain time, I seem to recall Pac not fighting Oscar Larios at 122 when he was one of the top fighters, only at 130 where he wasn't even relevant. I seem to remember Pac not fighting Zahir Raheem, who beat Morales before Pac did. I seem to remember Pac not fighting Joan Guzman at 130, one of the Top SFW's in the world at the time. I seem to remember Pac not fighting Shane Mosley in 2009-2010, not wanting to fight him at any weight higher than 142 lbs. I seem to remember Andre Berto, then the #2 WW in the world, being a possible opponent for Pac in Spring 2011, but nope Shane Mosley was his selection after losing to Floyd and fighting a draw with Mora. I seem to remember Pac vs. Csamayor at 135 being possible for Mid-2008, but nope he fought David Diaz instead, leaving JMM to fight Casamayor. I seem to remember epople on here right beofe I joined saying "pac-Ortiz, that'd be a great fight to get made, it'd be a war. Floyd won't fight Ortiz, too much of a risk", and than Pac opted to fight Marquez at a weight he'd already been whupped at by Floyd.....oh and he barely beat him.
You were saying.....All you do is hate on Floyd. He didn't lose to Cotto, not even close, you f**king moron.
I don't get overly involved in any pac/floyd debate as you actually can't have have a serious boxing discussion and give a truthful opinion without getting insulted by a troll like this guy.
its not 9 am where I live. and I got a job. I dont know about you though

Why should Floyd have fought Paul Williams in 2007??? Because he had one good win over Antonio Margarito??? He fought Oscar De La Hoya at 154, one of the top ranked SWW's and the fight to make him a mega-star, and Ricky Hatton, who was #8 P4P and had won a title at 147 before.
And you wanted him to fight Paul Williams, who lost to Quintana ine arly 08', avenged it a few months later, and than moved up in weight anyway???
