People laughed at Floyd Mayweather and suggested he was using the Random Drug testing as an excuse of not fighting Manny. He and his camp constantly told people that Boxing needs to upgrade the drug testing because it was weak and Boxers weren't playing on an even playing field. Maybe now with Peterson testing positive it will open up some eyes and push the Random Drug testing issue to the forefront. I like Peterson and his whole coming from nothing story but if he cheated which it looks like he did then I can not support him. I think it's time to finally clean up Boxing. Right now Boxing is in the same spot as Baseball was when all the roid cheats were starting to surface and get exposed. Now hopefully fans will look closely at the Boxers who refuse random drug testing. If you're clean there should be no hesitation in taking a random drug test for the good of the Sport.
not true at all .it has been proven that floyd would've come up with another BS demand had pac agreed to that..you forgetting how quick floyd changed his 14 day cut off to no cut off my friend...and originally agreeing to 50/50 to demanding 100% of the ppv money..
Whatever, man. Some of you people are so pathetic. Both camps are full of ****, but regardless of what trash comes out, especially on Pacquiao's side, their fans lap it up.
You have Freddie Roach on camera in 2009 talking about Floyd's drug demands, saying they weren't a problem...only to find out a couple days later that it was a problem (after Bob Arum got a hold of Pacquiao).
You have Pacquiao making himself look like a complete goof trying to explain walking away from the table to Brian Kenny.
You have the 20+ excuses that have come out of Pacquiao's camp in the last 2+ years.
You have the bogus time clock/news conference set up by Arum with a deadline for Mayweather's response when he KNEW he never talked to anyone from Floyd's camp.
You have Arum admitting last November that they weren't pursuing a fight with Mayweather.
You have Pacquiao saying that he'd take less money to fight Mayweather, only to change his mind once Arum arrives in the Phillipines.
Pacquiao is a ****ing puppet and everyone knows that he is. Of course there's the eye-gate situation....the outdoor stadium failure..Arum has already been on record saying that they're doing a Marquez/Pacquiao fight in November, when in the same breathe says that "November would be perfect for Mayweather/Pacquiao" after he found out Floyd wasn't going to jail.
But, of course when the fight doesn't happen in November your dumb ass will be saying the same ****.
How ****ing retarded are you Pacquiao fans to fall for this **** every single time they open their mouths? At least Mayweather stays consistent with his bull****.
Of course you have Mayweather, who for 2 years said if Pacquiao agreed to drug testing they could fight, then Pacquiao apparently agrees to it, says he'd take less money, now all of the sudden Floyd can't accept the same 50/50 split he agreed to in 2009. I don't care how valid of a point he has - Its disgusting.
It should be all year round testing, not only during camp. That way if a fighter is clean he has to be clean all year round. OST style testing is not OST style testing if it's not year round.
If you're going to do it, do it right.
Man this is rediculous. It really doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure this **** out. Marion Jones, James Toney, Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriguez. Shane Mosley shouldve been the eye opener but the world feel with deaf ear for some reason. If its competition with physical contact there should be testing. Stop hating on Mayweather we all admit hes smart now admit he saw the future. We just need to catch on. If a fighter doesnt want to test then stop fighting.
what was the sample used? was it blood or urine?... if its blood, then it should be considered.. if it's urine, then why need to change?... the same commission using the same type of samples caught steroid users both in boxing and MMA for the past decades...
why floyd only thought of this after 40 pro fights?... does it mean he won all those 40 fights on uneven playing field?...
Well obviously the urine tests were done WHILE in training. The urine tests they do is only AFTER the fight and it's not random. By that time with the technology they can have the roids gone by then.
Floyd obviously used it to duck pac. Peterson tested positive, when has pac tested positive? What's that?? That's right, he's never tested positive. Pac first said no to OST because he wasn't going to be floyd's bltch and play his mind games. Now that it's more serious pac agreed because HE IS CLEAN and isn't affraid of floyd. Then suddenly floyd offers less money...hmmmmm...who's ducking who??
Ummm Peterson never tested positive UNTIL he agreed to Random Drug testing. You sure you want to use that logic buddy?
uhhhh.....
floyd did use random drug testing as an excuse to duck manny, evidenced by the fact that manny agreed to it several times already, and floyd subsequently walked away/made a flat fee offer each and every single time
the funniest part of all is that lamont peterson was caught by a urine test which all the pac haters were saying was useless lmao
yeah urine test WHILE he was training not AFTER a fight when it would be out of his system.
F*ck outta here. Why don't you man up for once and give a straight answer? Always looking to deflect when your hoe card gets pulled. You have several examples (aside from the obvious that any non-retard can see) that show how prominent testing in boxing has become. And the only thing your whiny ass can muster is a one-off example that's supposed to counter what exactly? Couldn't even answer. Maybe you should take your own advice if you have. Nothing. To. Contribute.
:lol1: you know exactly what my points are but you constantly try to act like a condescending douche just asking question you fully know answers too.

stop with this babble. If Pacquiao would have agreed to the 14 day cut off Mayweather conceded to in 2009 the fight would have already happened.
Thats not even the point, though....Why anyone would be against random drug testing across the board in a sport this dangerous is mind-bloggling.

People using Peterson's cheating to justify Floyd's ducking of Pacquiao are stupid, it was all about the split remember? or whatever other excuse Floyd can think up.
His latest excuse is Arum has to disappear first. Prior to that it's about the date and venue, then the purse split.
All the while he duped everyone into thinking it's all about drug testing.
:unitedsta

Then. Stop....Replying. To. Me. Got nothing to contribute, then dont reply
