Floyd last night looked very beatable. Last night Cotto once again showed that Floyd's weakness is the straight left hand. Judah got him with it. So did demarcus corley. Cotto just augmented that theory last night. Guess what Pacquiao's best punch is?
Straight left and the lead left hand. There's a reason why Floyd's own dad doesnt want floyd fighting southpaws and there's a reason why Floyd has been so reluctant to get in the ring with pacquiao.
Starting from the marquez fight, floyd has been developing a high propensity of lying on the ropes. A huge no no against pac. Floyd's legs are not what they used to be. He stays in the pocket and engages so much more now. I was surprised at how cotto was able to land on floyd whenever he got him in the corner and attacked. I saw this in the ortiz fight too.
Last night just proved once again how grossly overrated floyd is along with his defensive wizardry. A 38 year old a year and a half inactive shane almost KHTFO. Cotto's shell busted and bloodied him up.
If pac can regain form vs Bradley, what i saw last night from floyd, i feel very confident that Pac can hurt floyd and beat floyd.
As for the Cotto, he missed a golden opportunity last night. He could have gotten Floyd. Everytime cotto attacked and pinned floyd, he would score and land. His problem is always his stamina and tactics. When he didnt throw he would sit in front of floyd and let floyd whack away at him. A little more pressure and smarter defense would have made things very interesting.
A smarter and more aggresive volume power puncher with stamina can definitely beat floyd. Especially a southpaw. Enter Manny Pacquiao.
Last but not least, last night showed us that nobody is unbeatable. Nobody is perfect and why you fight fights in the ring and not on paper.
judah didn't have a jab, all he did was what manny does, set-up jab, left cross, except manny with turn more and usually follow his one-two with a third punch(a strong wide right hook)
Right.
And he was dominated.
Well you must have the eye of the fuccin tiger. Only fighter I saw get his bell rung was Cotto in round 12.
i guess i must, i also remember cotto getting staggered in the 2nd by an uppercut

No I noticed it to, it was a left hook that Cotto sneaked behind his guard. Cracking shot.

I think Mayweather was slightly buzzed by a left hook early in round 6.
His legs went a little stiff.
He wasn't badly hurt but he looked a little buzzed momentarily.
That was the only time in the fight though.
I think anyone without a jab is going to have a hard time beating Mayweather.

lets not forget manny looked like this after his fight with cotto

because cotto and floyd are equal in punching power and fighting styles.
makes sense.
cotto hurt floyd in the beginning of rd 6, floyds back leg locked on him, nothing major, but his legs felt it
what did cotto do? he jumped to floyds left and wacked him with a left
he did it rarely in the fight, but landed when he did

manny on steroids with a gun in his gloves that shoots every time he punches might get 3 rounds off of mayweather...
I agree because Floyd would fight Manny the same way he fought Cotto.
(Sarcasm)
People do not understand.
Styles make fights. I always said De La Hoya and Cotto would be the ones to give Floyd a run for his money and make him work and they did!
Manny is a pressure fighters, indeed yes, but he gets discouraged when he gets countered (Look at all JMM vs Pacman fights including the third) Manny Pacman was hesitant, only because he did not want to get caught. Why? Because the new Manny Pacman has become a boxer puncher, not puncher. You cannot box a boxer, this is why the third fight was so close and in favor for JMM the last time around.
Manny Pacman will decide to trade with Floyd and will lose. You will not see that fire he once had, because he is not that fighter anymore. He will become discouraged when countered the accurate Floyd Mayweather.

Manny still has yet MOLLYWHOOP fuccin Marquez who simply boxed him.
anybody find it hilarious that floyd fans are more confident in beating pac than floyd the fighter himself?

Floyd is 35 and really he is lucky to have been in form as long as he has. The guy isn't immortal. That being said, Manny doesn't have the defense of Cotto nor does he use the ring as well. I still see him eating lead rights all night long while being forced to fight Floyd's fight. I doubt Floyd would employ the same tactics against Manny that he did against Ortiz or Cotto.
Actually this Floyd whoops Manny worse than I thought. Cotto was throwing full on combinations and hitting nothing but shoulder and arm. His defense is the stuff of legends and he fought Cotto's fight and STILL won 9 rounds.
Well put!!!
