Sturm vs Zbik from Germany tonight

Who you got in this one , i think this might be the passing of the torch as Sturm is on the slide - BIGTIME. The title will stay in Germany and im sure that will please the promoters. IF Zbik can produce the performance that he did vs Chavez Jnr then i think he takes the takes the fight on points in a close contest. I gave Zbik 2 rounds whatever that score is. Anyone else think the German camera work is much better than HBO? German fights always seem to consistently show better angles than HBO. Much more variety.

Sturm is no.2 in the division. A fight against Sergio would be great. Not only because they are the top guns, but it would be a very interesting styles matchup. That fight is not going to happen honestly neither are going to travel Sturm needs to fight to clear up this super/regular belt nonsense with you know who!

Finally Sturm returned to his jab. He fought a great fight. After a few lacklustre perfomances and narrow escapes, the Felix Sturm of old was back. Now bring on Martinez or Golovkin. Be careful what you ask for sir.

Zbik did better in the first 2 rounds because he was standing in front but slipping the jabs. But he didn't move his head consistently and then started eating too many jabs. Besides, Zbik is featherfisted. Golovkin can punch. Sturm is too basic imo I haven't really been impressed with Golovkin. His competition has been too mediocre to really take away much from him. Even Strum and Pirog have been fighting better guys.

Yea, he sure as hell fooled me or you can look at it as in Chavez fooled US by making Zbik look so good. Partly Chavez just isn't that good and Zbikster fought a tremendous fight that night

Martinez would probably lose a good amount of PPV income if the fight was to be on an afternoon instead of night in America. Martinez vs Sturm isn't a PPV fight. It would be a regular premium cable HBO fight. The only middleweight fight that would be in PPV in America is Martinez vs Chavez Jr.

You know what? I'm picking Sturm against Golovkin. I love his jab. Very few fighters throw it with such authority. Understatement. Martinez would put all 3 of these guys in a casket and 6 ft under. Actually make it 18 ft under, all 3 stacked on top of each other cause he would beat all 3 in 1 night... no joke. All in all that fight was pretty damn boring, Felix Sturm proved he definitely isn't good as his record makes out! All he did was jab, jab, jab but I agree it's Zbik's fault for not being able to deal with a one dimensional fighter but total result is I understand why Sturm doesn't fight in America or against any slick fighters he'd be made to look stupid very yawn worthy fight though.

Funny how Sturm fooled people now to be Prime again, it was good style match-up from the beginning. Golovkins just goes through him and beats him up really bad. There's a reason Sturm has avoided this fight with help from the WBA If Sturm can get another exception to fight whoever he will

I think Sergio going to Germany for Sturm is worthwhile. Sturm can actually fill up a stadium. I makes perfect sense for Sturm to stay in Germany if he's fighting infront of these crowds. Martinez is not really known in Germany.
