Don't know enough about Greb. Not sure about Marciano. In over 250 fights Greb was only stopped twice. One time near the beginning of his career, he was TKO'd in round 2 after breaking the radius of his left arm. "When the gong sounded ending the round, Greb's left arm fell limp at his side..His face, screwed up, bore testimony to the pain he was suffering." He had broken the radius of his left arm and fought a full round in that condition. The next day, Greb's arm was splinted and he was showing the X-ray of the break around. The radius was completely fractured, "and the jagged ends were overlapping." The other time was his 7th fight against a man named Joe Chip, who at this point was a little too experienced for Greb. Joe Chip weighed in at 156 while Greb only 142. "Greb has no excuses to offer, except that he met a better man and hereafter says he will not go out of his class and meet a man who weighed 156 pounds in the afternoon, while Greb only scaled 142." As for Marcinao I agree, I don't think his chin deserves a top 5 mention he never fought many who hit that hard for a Heavyweight at the top level. He was also floored numerous times from people who didn't weigh a great deal more than him.

man did you see the upper cut he took from Lennox Lewis? that would have KO'd almost any heavyweight i guarantee that. he took several bombs in that fight actually and walked through them. he has never been knocked down in his career. i think it has been tested. You can't put him in there from just one fight tho I mean there's fighters where people have crap chins and take shots all night from just the will to win. Look at Lewis his chin wasn't great but he stood up to the bombs vitali landed also does that mean he has a great chin? No vitali's chin hasn't been tested once really in any recent fight where he was taking bombs and proved his chin..so idt that counts but your opioion is your own.

So Underrated Chin, the only time ive seen him wobbled or hurt was against pascal a young fresh fighter in his prime and Hopkins was 43+ cause he blocked and ducked most of the hard punches he didn't have to show his chin as much. but he did have a good beard you're right

I think maybe that's why nobody has mentioned him. When's the last time you saw Hopkins getting the business pretty badly and surviving aside from the Pascal fight? And it's not like he was taking an absolute beating there

ya i was trying to list more recent fighters in mine. but lots of good lists I could agree with any of them really. except froch has been dropped and he can be, you will see against bute. he has a durable chin but hes susceptible to an accurate punch he doesn't see coming. margarito man, the guy has been pummeled in all his fights lol, even when he used to win he would get ****ed up too against anyone good. taken so many beatings yet still takes power shots and keeps coming. against shane i think mentally he was ****ed after the handwrap scandal and he wasn't his normal psycho self and actually got ko'd

Vitali....hell no. You have to fight people that can hurt you to know if you have a good chin. Replace him with Lamottta it's funny there was just a conversation, who hits harder w/ right hand, and Lewis takes 2nd palce after Foreman. when they fought Vitali took quiet a few punches and was he even shook? or was he ever dropped before? keep ****ing hating

I can't pick Margo. The awful beating he took by Shane just...I can't pick him lol. Pac too. Hard to be in the discussion when you've been wtf KOd. Shane is up there. Seriously, I almost WISH someone would KO him instead of watching him get his ass kicked lol. Can't pick Vitali either. Toney is up there though. These are all just recently. Too many past fighters with amazing chins that just got weakened over wars. Some people's definition of "chin" differs though. Some get knocked down, but they recover quickly and aren't put into too much trouble after surviving the scare. JMM comes to mind as a guy who sometimes seems chinny and knocked down by certain things...and other times just eats bombs like nothing.

There are lots equally good or better, like LaMotta, for instance, David Tua, Sugar Ray Robinson Jim Jeffries, Benny Leonard, Barney Ross, Maxie Rosenbloom, Young Stribling, Battling Nelson, Sam Langford etc. and many more, all with enormous numbers of fights. But for certain, Joe Grim has to be #1.
