The big concern about this show is they'll just focus on HBO fighters/fights and not really talk about the sport as a whole but good to finally see a show like this
Lampley is clearly biased towards certain fighters and does speak with a bias during fights which I might think HBO shoves down his throat.
Otherwise he's OK to me, he makes a ton of mistakes, doesn't really know what's he's talking about boxing wise, but he's extremely well spoken and loves boxing and has a passion for it. There are worse.
I do think HBO crew has done a terrible job in the last few PPV fights and am extremely disappointed with them. The way Mayweather/Ortiz was called was atrocious. They need to add RJJ in there because it seems he speaks his mind and isn't a company man. He also has an amazing boxing mind.
Lampley? fair and equal? teh guy damn near cried and argued all night long with Eman during the cotto/clottey fight. he couldn't believe his favorite fighter was in tough
And Emanuel was fair and balanced? All he could was laugh when Lampley asked him questions about how he was scoring the rounds. Cotto clearly won rounds and Steward was saying he had it a shutout. :lol1: Come on.
He's a fan of fighters that he enjoys, which is great because it shows he doesn't have clouded judgement of any fighter. He's fair and equal to all boxers and you can tell his loves his profession.

Nobody knows??
I just know it said issues that are at the forefront of boxing which doesn't tell us much. As it gets closer we'll get more info and promos on HBO.
always wanted them to continue Legendary Nights
if this is a boxing show, probably not Lampley's own show
likely a some kinda HBO boxing vehicle hosted by him
