Boxing people: Does Zab Judah deserve to be in the IBHOF?

no, he just doesn't have the quality wins to make it. He deserves to be there before Barry McGuigen though

Lets say he retires this year and stays retired. Would Zab Judah deserve to be in the IBHOF someday? Yes, while he lost he was champion and a good fighter.. not great, but good. Not right now. If he were to beat Danny Garcia, Joan Guzman, Lamont Peterson, won a couple more titles, he'd make a stronger case. I doubt he ever gets in. He was just too up and down his whole career.

No. Up-and-down fighter, whose signature win was over Cory Spinks. Struggled with a lot of mid-level world class guys such as Corley and Baldomir. Dominated by the other top fighters of his era (Floyd, Cotto, Tszyu sort of), and by guys on the way up in the next era (Khan). Struggled with Matthyse too. It's possible, though a long shot, he can make a late push at 140 and 147, but I've seen nothing from him that leads me to believe he will. Would be glad to be wrong though.

He is on the cusp pf that accolade imo, he has to get some solid wins under his belt before he retires.

wasnt judah an undisputed champion @ one time? or was i mistaken maybe it was just "ring mag champ" but yeah if some of the others can get in why not? Personally i wouldnt vote for him, but he is still fighting so time will tell i guess
