That little Dominican landed combos on him for a round and a half. The Cotto that Pac faced was downhill, but good-enough to come close P4P to the Martinez I saw in that last fight. Setting aside 'P4P reckoning' of Sergio relative to Manny and Floyd, I'd have to say that no WW faced by either Floyd or Manny constitutes a Martinez-level challenge It's pretty obvious on a weight-basis alone. Whether he does "Mannyweight" 150 or goes legit 154, he is still going to rehydrate to being so much heavier than Manny, and heavier Floyd, come fight night. At what you call mannyweight, Sergio does run significant risk of overdraining, but Manny's going to be more than 30 lbs south of him (see actual ring-weight vs. Plasterito). Against Floyd with no catch, he won't have as much of a weight advantage, but then he doesn't have to worry about being weakened by 'catch' draining. 1 brave man, my guy. I do not think a 145lb Cotto comes close to Martinez in the slightest. Can you tell me why you feel so?? I think a 147lb Clottey is higher than 145 Cotto.
