floyd and pac have frozen 135-160. none of those guys will take any risks in fear of losing a possible big fight. oscar did the same thing the last years of his career. this is garbage.

There's no question...Floyd. Even if he lost to Floyd, he might still be able to land a Chavez fight after. But the same cant be said the other way around.

From a business or fan friendly perspective, I want Sergio-Floyd a hundred times before Sergio-Chavez.

He'd fight Floyd. Win/win for him. If he wins, he just beat one of the best P4P boxers in the world. If he loses, well, he just lost to one of the best P4P boxers in the world. If he beats Chavez, haters will say duh, he was supposed to, Chavez is garbage. If he loses to Chavez (doubtful), then his career takes a huge blow.

He'd pick Floyd without question. Fighting Floyd whether he won or he lost would bring him recognition among the casual fans and would probably increase his fan base. Not only that but after the fight his chances of getting Jr. would be better. Arum's "Sergio isn't PPV material" excuse would be totally irrelevant. Then again Arum is one stubborn sob so maybe even after that fight he still wouldn't get Chavez Jr.

Mayweather, of course. A fight with Mayweather gaurentee's you money to set you for life, he's made himself into that level of superstar. JCC jr would also be a good pay-day, but the difference between a good pay-day and what he would get with Mayweather is huge.

Rehydrating 7-10 pounds is "average". . . Sergio is a full blown MW. . Not big, nor small. . Just a solid, regular MW. . . I think it was average a few years ago, but now it's pretty damn small especially considering he's under 6 foot as well. All the other guys are hydrating so much higher.

No doubt its Floyd. If he fights Chavez and loses, the Floyd fight is off the table. But if he fights Floyd and loses, the Chavez fight would still be able to happen.

Let's say Mayweather wins his fight against Cotto and contacts Martinez and around the same time, Arum and Dibella came to an agreement. Who do you think Sergio would fight? Who do you think he should fight? From Sergio's perspective, I would take the Floyd fight. That's where the money is but not only that. He doesn't have much of a fan base, which is why I believe he should fight Floyd. He will get a lot of exposure from this fight. But from a fans perspective, I would love to see Sergio vs Chavez. I agree Floyd, more money is the key. If Martinez sits around and waits for these guys, he will be wasting much of his career though. He should get busy while he can and bank as many reasonable defences as he can. It isn't hard to see neither of these champs are eager to fight him now.
