By what margins? A ton of people were picking Hopkins, and Kessler, and Lacy. He was supposed to get KTFO by Lacy. By what margin? He was the betting favourite for both the Kessler and Hopkins fight in every bookie taking bets on those fights in the world. If you're the betting favourite how are you "supposed to lose?"

This is an insult to Morales to even put em in the same sentence. The man reigned terror in the lower weight classes for well over a decade. Fought the who's who and beat everyone even after he was shot pulling one more out of his rabbit hat with that pacquiao win. Morales is an Elite top fighter of all time in a division neck deep with incredible elite, young talent, and he came out on top. Calzaghe was good.. but lets be honest he didn't have the kind of talent pool there.

was morales undefeated? did morales have 21 title defenses? did morales ever beat anyone as insanely good and dangerous as jeff lacy? no. case closed. calzaghe wins.

Hopkins, Lacy and Kessler were two prime fighters that Joe fought. Morales fought Barrera, Kelly, Junior Jones, Mccollough, Ayala, stopped Zaragoza and beat a prime Pac just to metion a few prime fighters that he fought and beat. Got to go with Morales

I think people are being a bit harsh on JC here. The guy could fight extremely well. Its just he didnt do it enough. When a challenge was put upon him he passed every test and that he should be given credit for. I think JC can fight every bit as good as Morales, its just his resume isnt as good.

Morales no doubt Calzaghe fought Hopkins and Jones Jr to late in his career and they both dropped him.
