khan spent months afterwards crying like a whiney little b1tch. juanma made one ridiculous statement and apologized for it the next day(even though it was probably a case of his pr advisors making him apologize for the sake of his marketability as a fighter).
i gave khan my vote, purely because it actually annoyed me so much to come onto boxingscene every day and find a new article about khan saying he didn't lose the fight - if you're involved in a close fight in someone else's home town, you'll probably lose - that's just boxing. khan also said before the fight that he wasn't concerned about fighting in peterson's hometown because he wouldn't let the fight be close enough for peterson to get the W on the cards, and look what happened then.
bottom line, i think it's difficult to compare the two - they were both sore losers, but khan kept making statements with great regularity for such a long period of time that it has to be him.
Khan had the right to complain having been shafted on the cards and by an overzealous referee. Plus with all the other shenanigans that went on in D.C.
^^^ This.
Khan had an excuse to "cry" and file an appeal. The proof was right there in front of our eyes, that he got shafted by a ref. But as far as Juanma goes, he accused someone of something he had no proof of whatsoever. Not to mention, that someone was clearly on his side (not saying he was paid or corrupted) the whole fight.
People just gonna hate Khan for whatever reason and say he's a cry baby =/.
Khan clearly won the Peterson fight 8 rounds to 4. thats clear enough to call it a robbery. Khan would be a pus sy if he doesnt say what he thinks so how is he a crybaby when he says he got robbed?
Both are thong wearers...
But Juanma, what a joke this guy is.... What an embarrassment to the island of Puerto Rico and its rich history in the sport of boxing. Just pathetic! Juanma reminds me of a spoiled little child who whines and cries when he doesn't get his way. And, its laughable that this "child" wanted to tango with my Cuban brother Gamboa. That's hilarious! Gamboa would've destroyed this guy!
He made himself look foolish when he attempted to place blame on a referee that is probably responsible for saving his dam life more than anything. Juanma was on 42nd and queer street about to get demolished if he was given the opportunity to continue. Bravo to the ref for saving what's left of his pathetic career. If he had a moticum of boxing intelligence he would've gotten up a little slower, taken a knee and regained his composure. No, he had to be MachoMan in front of the PR crowd jumping up immediately like a dumbass. Intelligence in all things goes a long way.
Que idiota.
I don't blame the ref for one second for rejecting that weak apology either because it does zero to fix the refs reputation after this "child" defamed it. There is nothing worse than a sore loser which is usually a clear indication of immaturity and a lack of manhood.
Yes, most boxers have their nonsensical bs excuses when losing a fight but Baby Juanma's takes the cake in my opinion. So, let me get this straight Baby Juanma, the ref has a gambling problem and he's the reason you got your ass handed to you from pillar to post? Ok, got it! Kick rocks man you've stunk up the joint! Retire now before you embarass the island of Puerto Rico's boxing heritage any further!
In the words of George Lopez, "Mas Puto"
I still say Amir because Juan Ma quickly apologized ( or signed one somebody wrote)....
I went with JuanMa, only because "The man in the hat" actually existed.
