Now before I get off on my rant I just want to say that I still am not very big on this fight. I think that even though Bradley has the skill to hang in there with the top guys, his lack of power is what's going to be the difference maker in this fight, and any other fight against other top tier guys out there. Don't get me wrong, I think Bradley is the top two, if not #1 guy in his division. But I think that against PAcquiao, stylistically he gets blown out of the water. I could be wrong, but we'll see.
That being said, many posters here with myself included, seem to blow off this fight in favor of others, such as Mayweather vs. Cotto. Now I'm not here to make a Floyd vs. Pac thread, because I want to focus solely on Bradley vs. Pacquiao here. But the more I think about it, I'm starting to think that I, along with many others, may be overlooking this fight. Does anyone else kinda feel that way??
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Bradley won the fight convincingly. Pac has shown obvious signs of slowing down and deteriorating skills in recent fights. Bradley got to where he is the hard way. He has fought the best that were available to him (with the exception of Kahn, but apparently that was down to promotional issues).
He is a crafty little dude, not one to be over looked. Bradley is definitely a harder fight for Pacquiao then Cotto is for Floyd.
Uhmmm, Pacquiao said he's never going to fight at 154 again coz it's already too big for him. And there's no reason to fight him again at Welterweight coz Cotto got demolished and Pac will get blasted for giving Cotto a rematch, if ever.
Pac vs Bradley is a good fight.
he never fought at 154 it was 150lbs
He always finds a way to win...he makes subtle adjustments. The kind that the opponent takes a while to notice and by then it's too late. Bradley uses angles, Pac thrives on guys that come straight in....the head movement will be a big factor too.
Pac is going to be pushed a great deal, he'll have to earn the win.
seriously I need some one to explain to me WTF is Bradley going to do to Pacquiao? only thing I could see him doing is make Pacquiao miss like a dumbass but still lose 10 or 11 rounds
lol the possibility of this being a semi-exciting fight is very slim, Bradley comes in with his head and clinches most of the time. Now take Pacquiao's power into consideration and this will be a hug fest. Bradley will not engage or trade for a sec.
Everyone is still talking about the Cotto stuff huh?
It's so funny because if Pac fought Cotto we'd never hear the end of how he's rematching someone who doesn't even deserve it after a blowout and someone who hasn't improved since his last last.
No its mainly because he wouldn't rematch Cotto over 150.
Because you have no idea what I'm talking about. That is why. Go back and school yourself on WHY Pac is not fighting Cotto at 154. Then come back and say you're sorry.
For now, I did you a favor. You're welcome.

I stopped reading after the bold part.......

Was everyone over looking Pac vs Hatton? Hell no, EVERYONE knew that bum was getting KTFO. Now we have a JWW fighting an 8 weight class former JMW "Champion"...
Cotto was too much of a threat even though Pac wanted to fight him. Bradley was up next since Bob said the stadium wouldn't be finished in time to fight Mayweather. Bottom line, Bradley has little power and won't out box Pac. This is not that great of a fight but it is better than Pac's cowardly disgraceful run of Clottey, Mosley and Margarito...
Mayweather vs Cotto I think will be more exciting than Pac vs Clottey, I mean Bradley. Mayweather will sell more PPV's too. But the irony of it all, is when Mayweather sells more PPV vs Cotto than Pac did vs Cotto....
Lets just hope by the end of the year when Mayweather gets out of jail, Pac won't be too religious to fight Mayweather.

wow bradley is getting no respect
In the WW devision, why would he?
If this was JWW than you would have a very solid case. Bradley dipped out of a Khan fight at JWW to fight a bigger name for more money. Can you blame him?
What Bradley did is basically what Mayweather did when he fired Bob Arum for not paying him the right amount of money (he wanted) to fight top rank fighters such as Cotto and Margarito, let alone a Hatton fight. So what did Floyd do? He fired Bob's scandalous ass and moved on to bigger and better things like De La Hoya (that sold 2 million PPVs due to the high demand and danger of that "0").
Bradley is a good fight but thats not saying much. Its just easy to make it out to be something its not due to Pac's poor selection of bums like Clottey, Margarito and Mosley. When you fight shyt fights like that, it makes the bradley fight seem very good. Like I said, I'm buying the fight, which will be the first one since the mannyweight cotto fight.

What's up with everyone & this Pacman power being the deciding factor?
His awesome power didn't stop a lightweight Marquez.
His awesome power couldn't stop a shot Sugar Shane.
Bradley's movement will be the deciding factor. Add to that he's not shot or a lightweight & walla, yeah this is a dangerous fight.
where have you been? Bradley is a very good fighter. His punching power is there believe that. He isnt a look for or go for KO fighter. He wins fights by throwing a lot of punches and good movement. Which makes this fight very interesting. You said stylistically... The two styles is what is gonna make this fight very good. And exciting. Dont be fooled with the Ko%..Bradley has it. He can counter very well. You are over looking this fight very bad.
On the other side you have a couple of names fighting each other. Im pulling for Cotto as usual. But, Floyd is a boring fighter to watch IMO and hes fighting the perfect fighter for him. Maybe Cotto will rock the world and do boxing a favor and rid Floyd from the sport. some fans may think Cotto May is a good fight because its two big names...How many times have you been let down with that! Out of the 4 fighters...Bradley is the hungriest. That makes for a real good fight!
I know who Bradley is, and I'm not saying he sucks or anything, hence why I gave him props. BUT, with lack of power I'm not referring to crazy Arthur Abraham one punch power, I just don't think that his punches are anything for Pac to worry too much about. I can see his speed and skill giving Pac problems, but as far as exchanges go, I don't see him doing anything that'll keep Pac from beating him in the exchanges and ultimately winning the fight. I could be wrong, and it might end up being very competitive, but that's why I made the thread.
Ive only seen highlights of Bradlety and wasnt so impressed. Seems like hes a little too open for Pacs fast combos , plus he walks forward which Pac loves. Pac hasnt faced a guy who brings the fight to him since Marg.
He looked bad against scared SSM and counter punching JMM, but anyone who comes at Pac will be in trouble.
