The rumors started with a local wannabe sports reporter name Tato Hernandez. He said something in a local radio about Dulorme sparring with an Argentinian (he didnt even know the name). Then three other wannabe sports reporters kept repeating it in their evening radio talk show.
If happened or not, who cares. Most hardcore fans know what a beast Maidana is and what a good prospect Dulorme is. No big issue IMO.
figures. couldn't find any credible sources for this at all.

Cool thanks
You are right no big deal it is sparing plus dulorme looks to be the real deal , i was simply curios whether the rumor had eny truth to it.

Not a big deal. I would expect Maidana to struggle in sparring. He brings that "I'm going to murder you and your family" attitude to the ring which is not something you really simulate when sparring.
As someone else said, there are a lot of guys out there who can make fighters like Maidana and Rios look bad in sparring that wouldn't be able to last in a 12 round fight.
exactly my thoughts.
Maidana is the one fighting so if he gets dropped it's news, if his sparring partner gets dropped it's not even mentioned.
Maidana is a warrior who comes to fight, and when you're that type of fighter sometimes you get hit and go down, c'est la vie.
I actually like this guy and wish him well but I really hope you guys don't make him out to be something he's not like Cotto & Lopez.
LOL. Its all good. Nobody here is hyping him up to be some invinceable monster or GOAT anyways. All i've read is great person and a promising future and thats it and possibly a good to great champion. Besides, you cant let a fan base dictate your support towards a fighter. Every fighter has a fan base and prolly get several knuckleheads that take it to another level as if there fighter is GOD but that dont shouldnt change your way of seeing things IMO.
I've been following dulorme for a bit now and i've yet to hear anything negative about him inside or outside of the ring
the kid is the goods
sparring is sparring, and until we hear any of these stories verified by a couple sources i wouldn't put a ton of stock into the rumors
i will say this, once he gets a little bit more seasoning (maybe another year or year and a half, fighting guys that will give him rounds) i'd pick dulorme to beat (probably stop,) maidana
KD's only make Maidana stronger.
He feeds on pain, misery and the tears of dying unicorns.
Marcos Maidana aka Kid Buu will burn all of St. Louis to the ground to beat Alexander.

i am the same way, not soo good at sparring, and better boxers beat me, but my best asset is my killer instinct, good chin and hard punch, therefore i do better in a real boxing match than sparring
