How would people feel if Bruce Buffer started doing Boxing intro's? Would people be too sensitive because he's affiliated with UFC or would boxing fans be open to to him doing his "it's time" intro's?
As much as I like Michael Buffer, Bruce is a little more refreshing. Not that it would happen but I think it would be one hell of a introduction if the biggest fight in the past few decades is done by Michael, Bruce and Jimmy.. Each add there own touch to the "show"..
I think Bruce should be welcomed into to boxing.... Anyone's thoughts?

i almost had heart attack during all these intros
I didn't realize that people thought he sounded annoying. I haven't seen enough of him to have that opinion. I guess I was just speculating on him doing well because of his success in the UFC.
However everyone has a very valid point in clarity. I've never heard him speak multiple languages either. Michael is spot on.
Either way, thanks for all the input, I never knew how many people didn't like the guy.

i think thats a terrible idea.
i have always been saying boxing needs to learn from mma and used the entrances as my main argument. the ufc is so good at using those to build excitement and it really creates a great atmosphere at their events. while boxing ringwalks are usually just a formality and a waste of time.
however bruce buffer is terrible, i think hes really ****ing annoying while michael buffer is great. michael buffer is classy, the kind of guy you automaticly listen to when he starts speaking. bruce buffer comes of as just a loud guy with a microphone, has the exact oposite effect.

Bruce Buffer is ****ing awful. What's wrong with you?
I've met Bruce. He's a great guy but man, he's a horrible announcer. He jumps up and down like a kid loaded with sugar when presenting the corners. Being an announcer is almost an art where clarity, diction, and pronounciation of the words really matter. Why do you think Michael Buffer was so pissed that he couldn't announce Kirkland/Angulo properly because the mic system was broken? Bruce should've just stuck with managing his brother Michael. In fact, it was Michael that told him to try announcing.
Imo 'its time' is a little tacky, like its too forced and he couldnt think of anything better to say.
He has a good voice or whatever, but imo michael makes epic fights even more epic with his introductions.
Ur perceptive..its very silly and forced is the perfect word to describe it
I've always thought of it as a metaphor. The older wiser more experienced Buffer does boxing, and the younger "newer" Buffer does MMA. Personally I like Michael more then Bruce and Jimmy. BUT throw some thunder Joe Cooper would trump them all
Great comment friend...I liked the Throw Some Thunder...that nobody ref makes bruce looks foolish...and btw...how did bruce get his job?...Did dana white look him up cuz he wanted someone related to micheal?...Did bruce put in an application?...Its silly

Im sorry the whole "Its Time" thing is lame...When ur brother created lets get ready to rumble, you sit in the room for hours thinking of something and thats the best you can come up with?..its horrible and his voice sounds goofy, when he says, "Iiiiiiittssss"...then the part where he makes it clear that its UFC, and not boxing.."the moment UFC Fans have been waiting for"...he needs to cut it out
I hope you're not trolling haha..
But in all serious, Bruce Buffer is quite a terrible annoucer and horrible to listen to.
He doesn't emphasize the correct parts of people's names and just ends up screaming off the top of his lungs.
That spinning turn thing he does is cringe worthy, and the "It's TIMEEE" catch phrase is lame as hell.
In summary Bruce Buffer is a giant douche.
Refreshing??????

Bruce is a ****king obnoxious moron who only exists as a public figure because he rode his brothers coattails. He sucks donkey balls. He has no talent. Are you on crack or just a UFC bandwagon jumper? (Aint they all) He doesn't have a voice like Micheal, he just yells instead and is also apparently too goddam stupid to realize that when you announce the undercards with the same intensity as the main event, it takes something away from the main event. NO!!! I do not want Bruce announcing boxing matches, I don't even want the insufferable jackass to announce the few MMA fights that I do watch.
Michael seamlessly transitions from foreign languages to english, several foreign languages. Bruce couldn't dream of doing that.
The fact that he is mentioned in the same breath as Michael is laughable.
If I randomly saw Bruce Buffer announcing a boxing match, it wouldn't get any more than a "hmm, well that's interesting" reaction out of me.
So really can't say that I care.

Plus I have never heard Bruce speak Spanish. When Michael Buffer announced Erik Morales after Morales/Pacquiao I it sounded AMAZING.
