Sources close to the information have informed us that although WBO jr. welterweight champion Timothy Bradley signed his contract last Thursday, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao has yet to put pen to paper for their proposed June 9th clash at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Adviser Michael Koncz was rumored to have arrived in the Philippines early last week with the bout agreement in hand, but according to reports, Pacquiao still hasn't signed the contract to make the fight official. Mat whats ya take on the fight.... i know youre a diehard with Tim....I think its gonna be a good fight....
Team Pac sleeps on Timmeh and he pushes Pac to the limit. Pac starts fast and tags Tim a few good times and Timmeh adjusts as the fight progresses. Story of the fight is Timmeh trying to get inside and Pac trying to get outside and if Timmeh can catch Pac as he backs away, I think he can make it real close.
It's just that there is no way Timmeh will win if it is close and it goes to the cards.
did you check out the interview with alex ariza on floyd hype . com lol he goes on the record sayin "the guys pacquiao does his sparring with is better then bradley" lol ariza has a mouth! lol
That kind of stuff is exactly what I'm saying, they think Bradley is some kind of a pushover. I mean, sure the dude doesn't blast people out with KO's but he gets it done. I keep hearing people say "Bradley doesn't stand out at any one thing but he is well rounded and athletic" I think Bradley is pretty damn good at a lot of things and he has a drive in him that a lot of guys don't have. He is going to show up for this fight looking like a machine...Pac and his team can say what they want about him but I guarantee Bradley isn't going to be afraid of Pac.
i like bradley i jus think its to soon for him! i hope the $$ is good for this fight,,
he shoulda fought khan 1st IMO before jumpin to the pacman fight,,
but one thing i can say is bradley has balls for takin this fight
He should know what he is getting into at this point, I expect the fight will be better than people expect.
I'm sure Pacquiao will sign the contract. This is making a big about nothing.
You're probably right but I'm hoping that since he's talking about retiring, a $40 million guarantee or the lesser share vs Mayweather sounds a hell of a lot better than what he's getting now.
If it goes to the cards and Bradley isn't up by 5 rds or more, he is getting robbed. I think Pac troubles him early on but Bradley switches it up and Pac gets frustrated. The main issue for Pac is that he is going to underestimate Bradley and pay for it. I say Bradley loses a highly debatable fight but in the eyes of many he wins.
I think Cotto does much better than people give him credit for against Floyd.
Let's hope it's not Pac having second thoughts about Bradley? That would look very bad....
I would rather think Pac is pissed that Arum talked him out of accepting the lesser share in a Mayweather fight that he agreed to for May 5th in Vegas.
Or it could be that Pac is thinking that a $40 million guarantee really sounds good if this is truly his last fight...
thank you for clearin that up mathed i like ur posts! your very insightful and you know your stuff! i read ur first post wrong i apoligize..
No problem man, I'm not trying to be pissy or anything like that. I'm just talking sh!t.....defending Bradley as usual
don't know if you saw the fight but people were actually booing
They booed in the Pac fight as well. The crowd boos when there isn't a KO or if the fight is not a Berto-Ortiz type fight. They booed Sergio against Barker...until the KO.
mathed like others needs to stop using double standards! you'd be quick to praise bradley if somehow in a full moon bradley beat pacquiao but you'd be the first to say pacquiao was "too old" if he ever meet up with mayweather
Dude what on earth are you talking about. Sure I'd praise Bradley if he fought and beat Pac...why not. I have said numerous times that I think Mayweather is scared of Pac and doubts his own abilities against him.
I'd be the first to congratulate Floyd if did beat Pac in a convincing fashion because I think it would be a tough fight for both guys. Truth be told, I think Mayweather could outbox Pac but I also think Floyd will have trouble if Pac presses him with flurries.
I would never use the "too old" excuse because two of my favorite boxers, of the boxers that I have seen fight, are Joe Calzaghe and Sergio Martinez. Both of those guys peaked later on in their careers and put on their best performances at an advanced age. I think Hopkins is one of the most accomplished boxers and even at this age, I think he can beat nearly anyone he faces (within reason). I'll use the drained excuse and the bloated up excuse....age can be negated by good genes and a healthy lifestyle (assuming Joe wasn't doing blow his entire career).
