One thing we can all agree on about Floyd RE: Lin comment

The rant Floyd made about Manny was racist. This tweet about Lin is just ignorant, though not entirely off base. Lin deserves to be recognize for what he's doing, and his ethnicity as well as his skills has been strong factor in his incredible rise in popularity. He's a freaking Asian dude who has played incredibly well in the last five games in a league that all but wrote him off because he didn't fit the mold of the NBA's preferred player type (i.e., black and athletic). That is just the mentally of the league and you gotta give Lin all the credit in the world Lin for breaking through that mindset and making the most out of this opportunity. All that being said, the mainstream media needs to calm the hell down. Linsanity is just too much hype. 5 games against mostly poor competition is not that big of a sample to gauge just how good a basketball player Lin will matured into.

Mayweather is a genius at selling himself. Lin is the most talked about athlete right now, it makes perfect sense to bring this kid up regardless of what sport, it's all press and keeps money in the publics eye.

Pac claimed to have talked to God? Jesus Christ this is getting ridiculous. That reminds me of that George Carlin quote "If this side believes God told them to win and their opponents side believes God promised them victory , can we at least admit God is fuucking with somebody."
