Never been to a mega fight before, nor have I been to a fight in Vegas before but I am planning on making this my first one.
I have my hotel and flights booked I just need to get tickets to the fight.
How much do they usually start at?
And when do they go on sale?
How easy are they to get?
And what is the best place to get them from?
just to give you a heads up ive looked up ticket prices on the fight, tickets range from $600 to $12,000, that was through jumbotickets.com,
That's a third party broker. They buy in bulk from Ticketmaster and markup at ridiculous rates. And they arw selling tickets that they dont have yet so be careful if you go that route.
I'm from Dublin Ireland. I was in Vegas for four days in August, stayed in the MGM and spent $2.2k but I went crazy that weekend! My friends spent like $800-1k in the same time.
It all the depends on what you wanna do.
!
IM from Waterford, fook im bringing bout $3k for spending money hope i hav a win
What I've been told is to get them on ticketmaster if possible. Those broker websites chsrge as much as 3 times face value. And the cheaper seats go fastest. If you look at some articles there were still 1250s available close to the fight date for the mosley and ortiz fights.
Congrats on making the trip to see the fight! Hope you have fun!
In all honesty, if you have went this far. How much are you willing to spend? I would personally get as close as possible.

I'll be in Vegas in November regardless if there is a fight or not. However getting tickets would have been #1 on my list.
Hopefully there will be "the" fight in November when I'm out that way.
You shouldn't have gotten a room yet. You would have got a free room along with a free buffet if you wait to purchase your fight ticket. just wait till the fight get closer and you might get a free limo ride from the airport also.
Well we where planning on booking the MGM grand but one of my friends is a high roller so he gets free rooms in the Venetian, so we got a free room.
We can easily cancel it, if we decide to do the above and it sounds very appealing.
I have been on the MGM Grand website and they have events listed right upto June but the fight isn't one of them. How would I go about booking a ticket and getting the above free? Is it through MGM or what?
I can't imagine they are gonna give free rooms to everyone who has a ticket?
LOL, OP didn't even realize he just got trolled, haha.
But in all seriousness tho, good luck with your ticket and hope you enjoy your time in there. I'm actually considering going to this fight as well since I'm probably gonna be in vegas around that time. We'll see.
Tickets start at $150.00 for the balcony, and go up to $1250.00. But that's if you get it the first day, the cheap tickets normally sell out in minutes, and then the scalpers buy the rest and charge and arm and a leg. Tickets don't go on sell for a few weeks though.
I dunno about Floyd but I've been to two Pac fights.in MGM recently Marquez tickets where 1000$ each for 1st row of upper level I know Floyd doesn't usually sell out arena but canelo Mosley will so Ur screwed I'd say 400 for worst seat in house don't bother with ticket master ..stub hub closer to the fight prices go down ....trust me I've been too more fights than most
I've had nightmares of being stuck in such a scenario with that idiot. God bless your soul.
lol it was bad.
but the trip was great. took a picture with ann wolfe and james kirkland. met erik morales at cesars. he was walking all by himself through the casnio.
i was stuck in an elevator with ellie sebach at imperial palace for pac/jmm 3. he was with some midget mexican guy.

I didn't see any of those threads man lol. Did you run into anyone of interest while out there? I had a great conversation on the way to the weigh in with Roger Mayweather. Dude is straight comedy!
I saw Roger in the hallway of the MGM but he was surrounded.. grabbed a few pics of him.. then when we were sitting in the stands during the non televised bouts, you could see Roger chilling down around the floor just talking to random fans.
I got a pic with kenny Bayless and Mike Tyson, and ate dinner at the same table across from Richard Schaeffer..
Yeah that sucks... I made multiple threads saying I was going!
Always book your hotel immediately because they fill up, and you can ALWAYS cancel them.
I always book my airfare last because most airlines you cant get a refund, only credit.

Reed you were at that fight and we didn't grab a beer? Damn man wish I would have known. I was in the house too. I will be there for Mayweather Cotto as well. For the Thread starter the $300 tickets are in the back corner. The $600 tickets are in the back center. The more more you pay the farther down you move. To those asking why book a flight in room so early the answer is simple. The rooms you want fill up quick. I always stay at the MGM cause you always run into fighters and trainers the entire weekend. When I booked my room this time, the type of room I always get was already sold out! I had to upgrade. Should be a fun weekend!

Every event is different.
I went to Mayweather-Ortiz.
I believe the worst seats cost around $300... but you are at the very top in the corner. Mine cost $1150 each, and I was half way between the ring and the very top, a LITTLE bit to the side. From that distance, you can HALF see what's going on in the ring, but you'll find yourself looking up at the screens to get a better view.
In reality.. at home in front of your TV is a way better way to VIEW the fight.. but nothing beats the experience.
MGM Grand isn't HUGE.. so even the worst seat isn't THAT far away like it would be at Dallas stadium or something... but the nosebleeds will have you far enough away from the ring you won't be able to tell too much detail in what's really happening or what's landing.
They generally go on sale 6-8 weeks before the fight.. and Ive used ticketmaster every time for every fight.

the mgm will offer a package deal for tickets and hotel. check with them. this is what i always do. it is always a better price that way. i will see you there!!!!!!!! really no bad seats in house but worth it to sit a little closer.
Exactly, I plan on going either way to the fight. I'll go on my own if I have too and I don't care what I have to pay either! It's just my friends are different, where you staying man?
I dont know where Im staying at yet, I have alotta friends in Vegas so I might stay at one of their houses.
