You cant determinate the country by the surname. Martinez is a common spanish surname. He still is probably part italian I mean what was the percent like 86% of argentina is euro and by far mostly italian. He looks a bit italian too if you ask me. he may be of italian descent but his national origin is argentine,, argentina is full of ethnic europeans but the fact is they are ARGENTINE PERIOD But saying argentine is like saying "American", they are melting pots filled with people from all over. Could Sergio martinez actually be italian or part italian? well obviously he's not Italian given that he's Argentinian part-Italian? there's every chance that there's some Italian blood there, but when I think of someone being "part-" something I wouldn't get thinking about too far back in the family tree or it becomes about a millionth part, which to me becomes slightly irrelevant
