Who do you think wins??? Whether it's at 144, 145, or 147 is really irrelevant to me. Bradley has fought at 147 before, so he can fight there.
Who do you think wins???
Right now, i STILL have Manny winning, though I'm a Bradley fan. I have Pac by a close MD. Bradley can definitely box Pac and throw smart timed combo's as well. As long as he doesn't get too reckless, he has a good shot.
When you've been fighting at one weight for over two years - in this case considerably longer - you are that weight. Whether you want to call him or small welter, big welter...it really doesn't matter. He's a welter. Enough of a welter to make others come up to welter to fight him.
Come on man, its common sense. You can call Pac a welter or heavyweight if you want but you cant dismiss the fact that Pacquiao most of his opponents has height, size and weight advantages over him during the fight, even against Marquez.
hahahahahaha pacquiao been fighting at welter the last 4 years.....which full pledged welter did he fight?? JR MW Cotto at 145 , a 38 yr old lightweight at WW, 40year old mosley, JR MW Margarito 150?? lol incredible
Someone ban this troll ALT please!
im clearly a Pac hater???? lol oh really??!!!!!... my whole post was about bradley you dumbass.....

I'm no psychic, but it sounded like you were sh!tting on the Pac/Bradley fight, trying to spin it as a cherry pick.
who the fuk has bradley beat to get a fight with pacquiao???/ this is just another inhouse fight by that ***** arum....
and im not saying this fight will do clottey numbers, but arum better be ready to open his wallet for some serious promotion because, nobody... and i mean nobody outside this forum knows who this guy is.... not too long ago he said himself he would walk around his city and nobody knew him....
Bradley is undefeated, prime boxer. He's probably the best fight out there for Pacquiao. Why am I even replying to your retarded post, you're clearly a Pac hater. You will hate on EVERYONE Pac fights. GTFO of here.
i think the fight will have a cw of 144 pounds, casue pac wont go down n he wont want bradley coming in at 147 n bradley will have no problem making the weight so i dont really think the weight will b a big issue
Bradley's good, but i think his lack of power is going to be the difference maker here. He didn't look all that in his last fight at 147, and against Pac I don't expect him to do anything amazing. Pac by UD
When I said that Pacquiao would KO him, youc ountered with this:
He is a true welter as he's been fighting there for years now. And he has the pop to do the job against Bradley.
Been a while since Pac fought a live body let alone KO'd one..I think this is a pretty even fight,Pac is Pac,but Bradley presents a whole lot of problems imo...
OK cool I'm not talking about marquez though that's a totally different fighter. but even then size wasn't as issue cause for one it looked to me marquez put on the extra weight perfectly fine and two, well like you said he knows how to fight pacquiao he's a boxer, a fantastic counter puncher, etc.
Bradley vs Pac will be just about the same size. The biggest problem for bradley imo is not moving up from 140 to 147 to fight pac it's that he doesn't pack much punch. I think that will be hard for him to get pac's respect if he can't hurt him.
When I said that Pacquiao would KO him, youc ountered with this:
I still don't consider pac a true welterweight I think people put too much into that, like everyone was saying pac would KO marquez with ease and he didn't even hurt him this time.

I'd only consider Pac bigger because he has acclimated himself to taking bigger shots fighters bigger than him at WW for a while. Other than that, yeah they are about the same size. Makes for more competitive fights for Manny because the speed of the guys coming up are closer to than than some of his opponents at welter. Like you said though, gonna be hard for Bradley to get Pac's respect enough to discourage him doing his normal thing....good chance for a KO at any time for Pac I think
I know he's a welterweight. What's the big deal if I call someone a big welterweight or a small welterweight? Especially in this context when we're talking about a potential pac vs bradley fight. I'm just saying I don't see a big size difference is all, I don't think size is a factor. Maybe I'm wrong maybe pac absolutely destroys bradley because he's so massively big. I just don't see it that way.
Exactly? What is the big deal? It doesn't matter. He's a welter. Marquez is not. Neither is Bradley. And the reason he couldn't KO Marquez isn't because he's a small "welter." He was a big feather and couldn't KO him either.
lol bad example man Hearns & Leonard were huge welterweights, espeically hearns. It's not crazy for me to say pac is a small welterweight, it's obvious he is. He is fighting at welterweight and that's his choice, but he's only doing so cuz he can get away with it. I always said if pac (and even floyd) were fighting in the era of hearns & leonard, they would never fight at 147, never. They are way too small for talented guys like that.
If pac had some big size advantage over his opponents at 147 then I would agree but he doesn't, he's always smaller or approximately the same size. And bradley isn't any different they are pretty much the same size. Pac is a small dude man.
Same goes for Cotto at 154. I never felt he has any real business fighting there, but he is so we must call him a JMW (just like pac a WW), doesn't mean I don't think they are small for their divisions. Eddie Chambers is a small ass heavyweight fighting at 205. If he lost 5 pounds he could fight at CW. He's a small heavyweight. It is what it is.

He has fought as welter, but he's really on limit of jr welter. Roach said Manny's natural weight is 140.
If his natural weight was 140 that's where he would've fought Marquez. And 144 isn't junior welter. He's been fighting at welter for years now. Enough already.
He's a true welterweight. Hasn't fought at or under 140 in how long? He's a welter and has been for years. His inability to KO Marquez has more to do with his boxing deficiencies than his power. And Marquez' chin.
He has fought as welter, but he's really on limit of jr welter. Roach said Manny's natural weight is 140.
I think a dominating performance from Pac is what is need in order to restore the confidence of the boxing public that Mayweather vs Pacquiao is going to be competitive. It would put a lot more juice back into the fight.
I have the feeling that Bradley will be anything BUT dominated.
think so? I always considered bradley having a pretty good chin, but he's in such good shape he can get himself off the canvas...like that knockdown against Holt, man, that should have knocked out any man. I was shocked he got up. And to go on to win nonetheless.
I was even more impressed that Bradley was smart enough and had the presence of mind to take a knee within the 10-count after he got up. He could've done what everyone else does and played macho while standing on shaky legs.
I think Bradley has the skills to go the distance and have his moments. My guess is that there will be another important battle going on inside his head. During the fight he'll have to balance between him doing the right thing at every moment vs. doing something reckless to be exciting for the fans. All that while Manny is in front of him darting in and out.
small welterweight for sure. only rehydrates a few pounds compared to other welterweights who rehydrate 10+ pounds. anyways, doesn't matter. personally I don't really see a size difference other than pac is used to fighting bigger guys for the most part. bradley has a good chin, good boxing skills, I think he can go the distance. we'll see if it happens though if not, i'd love to see bradley vs marquez
Whatever, small, big...he's a welter. If he felt any way about it he would've fought Marquez at 135 or 140. Instead, he felt fighting him at welter was to his advantage. Plus, he's been fighting there for years now. Go back and look at welters throughout history. Tommy Hearns was 145 when he fought Leonard. Heck, Cotto fought Pacquiao at 145. They aren't the same size wise though, nor do they rehydrate the same. Bottom line, they're all welters.
