Who should mayweather face on may 5th

i kinda agree....if only marcos was as big as say margarito , it's defentiely a fight worth watchin imo...i dont think floyd would be able to handle maidana's pressure tbh....my refence is floyd vs chavez fight..and chavez is a little guy that floyd struggled agints while it lasted.. I know people will roll there eyes at this but I wouldn't mind seeing Maidana fight Mayweather. Don't get me wrong I know Maidana is MULTIPLE levels below FMJ but he's one man who I don't think would mentally break down. All the other options I just feel will give up at some point during the fight. cotto is a free agent now. no more arum/tr to deal with. i don't see any reason why this fight can't be made on may 5th. gbp needs to act quickly. :bigeyes:

Pacquiao> Martinez> Cotto. I would be dissapointed with anyone else.

We all know the pacquio fight ain't gana happen on may 5 So who would you like mayweather to fight. Everyone is complaining they don't like a mayweather - cotto fight. So who do u want Please don't say pacquio. Funny how you claim that everyone is complaining they don't want to see floyd vs cotto and all responses but one did say Cotto. The pactard doesn't count. Who would be the "everyone"? I too would love to see Floyd vs Cotto. I still think that Cotto has a good chance to beat up floyd, hence why Floyd has avoided him for years. Cotto does have problems with pressure fighters, something that money is not. Floyd's defense will only take him so far. Albeit Floyd is a few leagues ahead of the Paulie from yesteryear, that is how I see this fight panning out. Floyd does not have the power to keep Cotto from coming at him. Cotto won't fall for that check hook, off the turn buckle move that laid Ricky out.

I think cotto has the best chance out of all the options mentioned. Cotto is a skillfull fighter. Cotto isn't the best at fighting guys that bang and come forward e.g margarita, pacquio and clotty. I want to see how well he can match it with mayweather skill wise and mayweather ain't a big puncher and doesn't throw lots of combinations.

Out of Cotto, Canelo and Guerrero.... I'd pick Cotto. Guerrero... even though I think he'd put up more of a fight than Canelo, needs to fight at a higher weight class first and prove himself. Hell, if he fought and beat Maidana in an impressive fashion.... I'd be okay with him

The only fight's that I would be happy with at this point are Pacquiao or Martinez. Both look unlikely at this point. So I won't be happy with anything. But, from the list that remains, I'd be the most happy with Cotto.
