Khan has always maintained Pacquiao was his friend although I've never heard Pacquiao saying the same. Khan has been fighting hard to get a rematch with Peterson and yet Peterson is being considered as a Pacquiao opponent.Is this how friends operate in boxing?

Difference being I never heard PBF or Berto say they were friends though. Truthfully I don't think Khan and Manny were ever friends I think Khan used to just say that for media purposes. nah I think khan just kinda mistook the fact that pac showed him some pointers and joked around with him since they're sparring partners as friendship. Pac showed more impressive support for linares in his loss to demarco than he ever did for khan but im sure linares doesnt think theyre buddies.

You coulda said the same about berto and floyd. Floyd was never gonna give berto a shot just because they were friends and both haymon guys. All of a sudden ortiz gets by him and floyd signs the fight before berto could even think rematch. Difference being I never heard PBF or Berto say they were friends though. Did that friendship exist at all or someone assumed since they shared the same trainer then they were friends? You coulda said the same about berto and floyd.
