I'd give Pacquiao a B-/B as well. He has a lot of names, but you also have to look at when he fought the people he did and what his opponents had done going into the fights with him. A lot of his big names were coming off really significant losses once he chose to fight them. He has a good resume, same with Floyd, but they need to fight each other, as well as people like Sergio Martinez, Timothy Bradley, Amir Khan (if he bounces back), and James Kirkland (if he keeps winning) to elevate themselves that much higher.
PACS RESUMe is of two halfs. It was outstanding with the beating of legends, Barrera, Morales, and JMM twice. And then the later half he had outstanding wins over the likes of hatton, DLH, diaz,Cotto, Clottey etc.
Outstanding performances.
Some people think Pacs the greatest fighter who ever lived, so many think his resume is second to none. Some think him being no1 is overating him. Depends on whos doing the rating.
Very true. It all depends on who does the rating of each fighter.
In a response to your signature, how does Floyd not have heart in the ring??? He showed a lot of heart and resilience in a few fights, enough to know what he would do if he faced great adversity. Mosley clocked him with 2 huge right hands that would have rocked pretty much anyone, and he kept coming forward after, recovered, and whooped him. Judah was even with him on the scorecards and even getting the better of him the first 4-5 rounds, and he came back and whooped Zab. He got rocked by Corley big time, came back and whooped Corley.
I'm just saying, Floyd has shown resilience and will in the ring.
Manny's resume gets a D- from me. Reason being, When you are the champ you are supposed to fight the best fighters out there to prove your the best. He hasn't done any of that. You can't possibly make a case for Manny's last 3 oponents deserving or better yet, earning a fight with him.
D-? lmfao.........

why do you ask questions if you dont really want to hear the truth to your question, lol, pac has a excellent resume and it gets you pissed off to hear the truth, lol, nyahahaha
Nyahahahaha lol well hahahaayaya lol actually...hahah It's not really the "truth", coming from a bias and non-objective person, but that's beside the point.
The point is that to most objective fans of the sport, Pac has anywhere from a B- to B+ resume. Good resume, not great. You have to look at who he fought and when he did, as well as what they'd done prior to fighting him. Morales I, Morales II, Larios, Barrera II, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley were all coming off losses or career defining losses prior to fighting Pacquiao.
Like I said, Pac has a good resume, not great. It's an overrated resume in terms of some people saying "Manny has the greatest resume ever of fighters at 147 or below" and that crazy talk. He can definitely boost his resume greatly if it were to add Floyd Mayweather, Timothy Bradley, Sergio Martinez, James Kirkland at 154 (if he keeps winning), etc. Same goes for Floyd.

I think you've always been bias.
Anyway, I'd give Pac a B.
You mean someone who sniffs Floyd's ass like you.. Pac and Hopkins have the best resume among all active fighters.. Pac didnt become "fighter of the decade" for nothing.. They have been fighting at the elite level for so many years, and has headlined the most number of PPV fights among all fighters, and that includes Floyd...
Nope. If you read my posts, I am quite objective, and always say that both Floyd and Manny are ATG's that need each other.
Manny Pacquiao is a great fighter, I just dislike the way his promoter has handled him the past 2-3 years or so.
No doubt that Bob Arum will line up Cotto or Marquez for Pac's next fight, when it really should be Timothy Bradley.
I don't "sniff anyones ass", I am a Floyd fan, not a crazy moronic guy that posts stuff all day long about hwo great Floyd is and how overrated Manny is, which is what probably a third of people on this site do with Manny and Floyd.
Nice try.

The Greatest fighter that ever grasped his hands on a Mic. Unstoppable machine on the Karaoke machine. Hands down Americas next music chart Idol. Move over Beiber, the Pacman is here.
Meant the proverbial 'you', not you or your post specifically. And I hope he fights Bradley next, would kill a lot of b.s. birds with one stone 'Pac doesn't fight African-Americans' 'Pac won't fight any young, hungry fighters' 'When was the last time Pac fought someone coming off a win/who was undefeated', etc... and also Senor Rosales would be a ghost in these parts :D
well said....
another thing i can't help but notice is how easy some fans become so highhanded and become experts sitted on their high perches grading boxers as B or B+ or C fighters...
and see things the way they want to just see it to serve their own point of view
You forgot the fact that he's the only fighter in Boxing history to win 8 titles in as many divisions. And if you want to nitpick about CWs and all that, he has 4 lineal titles... also the only fighter in History to be be able to make that claim.
Pac wasnt champ at **** at 154 or 135
Well....you sure can't tell who the non-objective morons are on this site.......Haha.
why do you ask questions if you dont really want to hear the truth to your question, lol, pac has a excellent resume and it gets you pissed off to hear the truth, lol, nyahahaha
First of all to me the Ortiz fight against Floyd the duck does not count to me, I am positive that it was a fixed fight, look at Ortiz's reaction after the fight he was smiling any other boxer would be furious or in shocked and didn't heard anybody from GB saying about filing a complaint? Second I got to the conclusion that joe cortez is on GB payroll, u only see him on GB promoted fights helping GB fighters example dirty khan vs Maidana.
So floyd the duck resume is gray with a lot of ducking and long layoffs, while PAC has been fighting actively against decent opposition, mark my words Floyd will never fight Martinez, he is scared ****less of sergio, Marquez is better than Floyd the duck, he want up two weight classes and was cheated on the scales and still fought and put a good effort, something that Floyd the duck ell never do, he won't even go up a weight class and fight Martinez, **** he didn't even wanted to fight PAC who is a Little guy until recently.
Well....you sure can't tell who the non-objective morons are on this site.......Haha.

an A for all the hall of famers onn his resume and for the fact he doesnt only beat up on midgets but also more bigger guys, lol, he doesnt win all his fights but at least hes very active and willing to fight everyone while floyds b1tch azz resume shows willingness to fight nobody bigger than he is and seems to duck everyone thats somebody great in boxing, lol, mayweather beats champs that were not really solid for a long time while manny fights hall of famers and solid fighters, lol, pacquiaos time might be over but floyds time has been over for a long time fighting once a year and taking long vacations to then to fight a good not great superbly gifted champ, lol, nyahahaha
A+ to be completely sincere and honest. No bias. There's a reason why he is considered the greatest or one of the greatest of all times by the entire world, media and people both. I mean you can't argue that or hisresume and career. Pacquiao is a phenomenon unlike anything we've ever seen.
B-
He hasn't fought a young hungry lion in their prime. Latino legend, tick. Slick American :dunno: He probably still has 4 fights left hopefully he fights a young up and comer and FLOYD.
