If he dominates Pac, gives a rematch same result and then beats Sergio he can be compared to Pac. That may sound harsh on the surface, but he has a lot of catching up to do. Pacs, ko of Morales, beating of Barrera, ko of hatton and Cotto has just put Pac that much in front of Floyd and with Floyds retirements the rest is history. Ok, in your opinion- who does Cotto lose to that's on Floyd's resume? Does he have to weigh the same as floyd? or is this an in genral question? I imagine if he starves himself to get to 135 and below he loses all those fights. In general, he may lose to corales and definitely to ODH.

Based on what I've read on this site, Mayweather and anyone even tangentially related to him are sub-human. He'll never get the credit he deserves as long as there's another fighter that can be rewarded ahead of him, whether it's Pacquiao, Ward, or whoever else. The hate for Mayweather is so strong sometimes I wonder if Floyd would be safer if he had Secret Service protecting him instead five guys with no necks.
