How can you respect such BS cards
i gave Froch rounds 10 + 11 and that was out of sympathy as they could easily be Ward rounds.
a 3 way 120-108 wouldnt of surprised me either
did anyone here score it 115-113? HOWWW?
- Im English by the way but i do despise Froch, he is a class A d1ckhead
when i watched it live i had basically the same numbers in my head
i dont know what the hell the majority of you were watching, just shows you lot just dont know how to score fights
exactly.
I had it 8-4, 116-112 myself.
Funny thing is, I said to myself that was the best score Froch could have gotten. I think I had it 116-112, but there was another rd I could have pictured the judges giving him.
I gave him 3.7.11.12 I think.
Almost the exact same as me except 7th I think.
3 I had as a pick em round and I gave the last 2 to Froch because it seemed to me all Ward wanted to do was clinch... especially in the 12th. So Froch's activity alone won the round.
Yeah, Carl should most definitely had been giving the nod, at the end of the day.
Perhaps round 1 and 2 for Ward, but the rest was within the monkey arms reach of the Cobra.
Carl takes it by KO decision on all three scorecards in 2012!
:wtf1:
.....
8-4 Ward. Froch won a couple rounds early. I don't know what the Showtime commentators were watching personally...
I don't know what you were watching if you gave two early rounds to Froch.
Hence your 120-108 idea.....
Froch won rounds 1, 3, and 10-12. It amazes me how Ward can rub the crack of his azz across his fans' lips and they score any round that he doesn't get knocked down in for him.
You gave Froch 1,3 10 11 and 12? What?
Round 5 and 9 were somewhat close rounds, could have been given to Froch.
So you're saying Froch could argubaly have won?
This sh*t in unbelievable.
116-112 Ward but to be honest I wanted Froch to win so 117-111 is probably my true score. The championship rounds were pretty lackluster. Ward seemed to be the more gassed out of the two but didn't let Froch capitalize.
when i watched it live i had basically the same numbers in my head
i dont know what the hell the majority of you were watching, just shows you lot just dont know how to score fights
Pretty much everyone in the Boxing community had the Scores much wider.
The entire British broadcast had it very wide. And described the scoring of the two judges as a 'disgrace'.
The fight was blatently lopsided.
How can people have a go at the judges then sit there & say they only gave Froch 1 round in like round 9? :dunno:
Froch came out like a tornado & clearly took majority of the latter rounds as Ward was starting to fade.
I gave Froch 4 rounds.
Seems likely those judges didn't want to appear as if they were robbing Froch since they were American and Canadian. I don't think they would have robbed Ward if the fight was closer, but those scores did worry me.
I had it 8-4 Ward with Froch rounds barley going to Froch. I gave him the last 2 because it looked like Ward was trying to hug it out instead of fight. Honestly.... the constant clinching was starting to piss me off... specially the 12th.
Ward won pretty clearly though IMO and saw that one judge had Froch up through 5 rounds
The irony of the British judge havin the widest margin for Ward lol. Imagine if Froch would've won more round, the fight would've been ruled a MD, that would've been bull**** truly.
they were probably watching the same fight me and mike haynes up there were watching.
ward didnt do shiit in the last 3rd of the fight aside from hold. and i'm not sure what he did in the first round that swept everyones scorecards on here.
and i don't think a lot of you guys appreciate bodypunching.
i have no issues with the 115-113 at all. neither did the other person i talk boxing with in real life. we both agreed it was a close and painful fight that wasn't as exciting as people on here seem to think it was.
i think a lot of people focus too much on the commentary and its blatantly obvious that showtime wants ward to be a superstar. he holds the entire way through ever since the miranda fight (maybe even against buchanan, not a memorable fight at all so i dunno for sure) and the showtime crew just talks about what a tough warrior he is.
