I'd still rather see Khan vs Floyd than Floyd vs Pacquiao
I agree so I'd rather see neither at this point.
they'll both lose anyway
no i think gbp can bounce him back from this. get the rematch, secure a ref like cortez to break them up, khan gets the decision. from there move up to WW and fight someone like senchenko, alexander....then by late 2012 he'll be looking at fighting someone like mayweather or ortiz. same thing applies to robert guerrero: get a tuneup at 140 and then another one at WW and in late 2012 he can also be looking at someone like ortiz or mayweather. it can still all happen just wondering who will floyd face in the meantime if team pac is still ignoring him.
... Even if Khan bounces back and wins a rematch, I still don't think public demand for May vs Khan is going to be high unless he beats the Ortiz vs Berto 2 winner. Se-whoever or Alexander won't cut it. Mayweather's next move if questionable too, because lets face it, Arum doesn't want the fight. But who's a credible opponent that Mayweather could face in May? I really wouldn't mind a Kirkland fight at 154, but appearently I'm the only one.

Wish I could dig up all the idiotic threads and posts about people saying Khan would trouble Floyd and the ones who even picked Khan to defeat him should be banned from speaking about boxing.
shame to all the ppl who even came close to believing that khan stood even half a chance against floyd. lmao. this **** is hilarious. i honestly couldnt believe ppl actually thought that would be in the realm of possibility. ah well...khan's back where he belong, on the b list. like i said before, khan and peterson are the same level of fighter imo.
This wont change anything.
Boxing people know Khan won.
business as usual apart from maybe a rematch and easy win. But not sure Khan needs it seeing he won by 4-5 rounds.
Can't believe Khan thought he was even on that level. He struggled with Maidana now Peterson dethroned him LOL hahaha
Guerrero, Bradley, Rios, Berto, Ortiz beat Khan.
Khan needs to be more humble.
Props to Lamont
Khan-Mayweather not happening is good news, the only reason I had somewhat of an interest in it is because plenty here thought Khan could trouble him, which I couldn't see. So I'm not at all disappointed, I'm happy for Lamont.
I agree. Only way I saw it happening was if Khan took care of business tonight, and beat the Ortiz vs Berto 2 winner for a December fight. Didn't think May vs Khan in May was likely at all because the only way it would had been viewed as credible is if Khan beat the breaks off Peterson tonight. So now that two opponents Mayweather is probably not going to fight anymore, which is cool because I'd rather see May vs Kirkland than Khan or Pac. I know most may not, but I just feel like Kirkland at 154 is a bigger challenge atm than anyone else at 147 - 154.
Too bad. :bottle:
