HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA.
It's called Karma.
That's what being an ignorant loudmouth piece of sh*t gets for you in the end!!!!!!!
People misuse the word incessantly. You probably mean rude. And if you mean rude, then I am curious how being confident is being rude.
You can also look at it like this: Amir is the champion and when it's a close fight, the champion should be given the benefit of the doubt at the end.
You realize boxing is scored by rounds right? There is no such thing as the benefit of the doubt in boxing.
Khan isn't a blockbuster either...and why do you care?
This is boxing not a popularity contest.
Certain fighters bring out the bi.tchiest fans.
I don't care. I'm no Peterson fan, all I'm saying is there is no motive for a robbery, it was a close fight and went to fighter A instead of fighter B. How is that *****y?
Oh and Khan is a blockbuster in the UK and THE money man of the division.
You can also look at it like this: Amir is the champion and when it's a close fight, the champion should be given the benefit of the doubt at the end.
Haha, benefit of the doubt? You're watching the wrong sport. Do you even know who fights are judged? There is no such thing as the benefit of the doubt.
The rounds are scored on a round by round basis, the cards are collected at the end of each round and the judges are given a new card for the next round. The judge can't just look at his entire card at the end and go "Oh, thats close, I'll just change a couple of the rounds here and there to make sure the champ gets the benefit of the doubt"
No robbery. It was a close fight. Technically the point deductions were completely fair, Khan did foul, its just some refs are stricter than others, Dont foul if you want to keep you're points, simples. Also, if you want to be a *** about it the KD wasn't a KD.
Close fight, no robbery. What's the point in the Robbery? Peterson isn't a money maker, him being the champ doesn't benefit anyone?
The ref robbed Peterson of a legit win. When has a fighter ever been taken points away for pushing to get distance from being rushed in on? It happens all the time in fights.
Like Merchant said, "It's boxing, cmon, pushing happens"
How did he rob Peterson of a legit win ?
If he doesn't take the 2 points Khan wins a UD.
I thought Peterson done enough to win the fight and had him ahead by 2 points at the final bell. Khan should take it like a man rather than all this crybaby stuff, at the end of the day he fouled repeatedly and was warned plenty of times before the point deductions so i cant see what he is moaning about. In truth he was fouling all night with the pushing, holding, headlocks, elbows and he even got a cheapshot in when the ref called break. However he needed to use them tactics because I think if he had fought without the fouling he would have been handed a far more conclusive defeat.
Can you imagine andre ward or some other american star getting docked 2 points and warned so often for what khan did? NO CHANCE
Khan thought he would be able to blitz peterson but he couldnt do it consistently. He should have realised the way the things are in america and what you generally have to do to win fights against a home figther, judging in the states really is as bad as in germany though, its unbelievabley biased
I scored it a draw.
When ur taking a guy on in HIS Town and fight on the backfoot, holding all the time, pushing and elbowing and just looking so flustered all the time u cant complain with the decision in a fight this close. Peterson looked like he wanted it so bad, i was happy for him even though i went in rooting for Amir and scored it a draw
Khan was poor but I thought he just about won the fight. The referee was dreadful - he was screaming at Khan at every opportunity but ignoring Peterson's infringements entirely.
Rematch needed with Kenny Bayless or Steve Smoger.
They would in a close fight, not this one.
Dude... peterson cards were 113-112.... move two to Khan and it's 113-112 in his favor.
did anyone catch that elbow that khan blasted peterson with to the the neck?
it happened in the 1st round..........
I actually did... I was like this mofo is throwing ****ing elbows.
Khan totally lost and got owned most of the fight, points taken don´t even matter. I´m glad Peterson didn´t get robbed.
Well they do... from a logical standpoint.
First: the ref didn't call a knockdown because it wasn't one. If you still couldn't figure that one out after seeing the replay, then you're just a douche bag. Go look at the replay again. It is their feet and then Khan's elbow that pushes Peterson off his feet, not a punch. It was a perfect call.
Second: clearly the first point deduction wasn't enough because Khan kept on doing it despite repeated warnings from the fist bell to the last. He had no point deductions taken for holding, or pushing down, but only shoving Peterson off him. Two point deductions was fine in a fight that Khan fouled from the opening bell to the last even though he had a point taken mid fight. usually, you stop fouling when you get a point taken. Khan didn't, thus, another point deduction. Maybe you think it's ok to foul when it's your favourite fighter? I don't.
He lost. Get over it.
OMG... Green K to the man who watched the fight and isn't suckling Khan's nut
Can someone tell me the last time a point was taken for pushing ?
I've seen 1000's of fights and never seen it.
Ali did it more in 3 rounds than Khan did tonight.
Go watch the fight again and tell me the last time you saw someone repeatedly throw his opponent off? Not shove, but literally throw. The last time I saw it happen was in Dawson/Hopkins, but Hopkins got hurt. Khan was really shoving Peterson away with both hands hard. That is a flat out foul. I still don't get why this is being brought up. It's no different than a headbutt, low-blow, holding excessively etc etc. You cannot push someone away with both your hands.
If you've seen thousands of fights and still didn't know, or haven't ever seen anyone warned for pushing, then you're clearly watching UFC too much and forgetting that in boxing, shoving someone off you is a foul and if you do it repeatedly, despite constant warnings, you will be penalised.
Crooked home referee was the difference.
Didn't count the first knockdown, and deducted 2 points when one would have been enough.
