Marquez vs Cotto would be fight of the year

if cotto is willing to go down to ww to fight floyd, he should go to ww to fight marquez! what a fight that would be, but anybody who know's boxing knows dynamita would give it to cotto, the long way at that... what do you guys think of this match up? i say... make it happen!!! would be great but i dont think Cotto will go back at 147

Cotto stops Marquez if he makes welterweight healthy. Just because Marquez proved that Pacman was overrated doesn't mean he belongs at 147.

Marquez would get murdered IF Cotto wasn't killing himself to make weight. Cotto is a fukin great boxer, and he is strong for Marquez. . pretty much lol.. although i give el canelo a chance because that vulnerable head down peek a boo guard that cotto brings is ready for a devastating uppercut and alvaez is one of the only guys who can execute it correctly ... problem is canelo is pretty flat footed and his defense is a little questionable..still in development but i wouldnt count out chavez jr nor alvaez

Cotto would have a huge size advantage over Marquez. If they were closer in size, Marquez would school Cotto.

Floyd won that fight similar to the way he won against other opponent both he and COtto faced. And Cotto beats them all by KO. Marquez belongs at 140 and Cotto 1t 154 thats it. No Mexicans can beat Cotto, I am sorry. Ortiz, Marquez, Canelo, Jr, Angulo all get outclassed. After the Marg fight I am CONVINCED. Marga was the toughest most dangerous one out of them all, **** everything with the eye - he takes and gives good punches with or without plaster. Only thing these guys have is a little more movement and speed than Margs, which Cotto has dealt with before, ala Mosley.

jmm could not even make the catch weight of 144 for his last fight he was in the 142-143 range...he gives up so much by adding those xtra lbs..he belong at 140 and cotto had the worst chin at light welter ,he was always weight drained and he was hurt by torres,corley, even maliganggi and few others when he was at 140. this would be a death in the ring lol.....cotto way to big and strong for marquez. huge disadvantage in my opinion.

i think they could make it at 147
