You have to actually negotiate in good faith before you can come up with a contract to sign and Bob Arum is unwilling to do that. Floyd is keeping the date open in the hopes that Arum will come to the table and actually have a serious conversation instead sending people in like Koncz for photo ops. Also I think Floyd wanted to put Arum in the position of having to admit he doesn't want the fight and never did. There's too much money to be made fighting "in house" fighters. Why would he want to split any of that take with another promoter? Fact is Bob didn't want Manny to fight Floyd in 2009 and he doesn't want him to fight Manny in 2012. I didn't know contracts like these were open to the general public. Who said that it has to be? I'm waiting for Ben Thompson to release a major scoop from KFC that he sent a signed contract to Bob Arum or if he handed the contract to Koncz we he had a visit.
