How the hell is Bradley ranked number 8 in Ring's pound for pound rankings, and Khan isn't even in the top 10?
Does anyone know if Khan's even top 20?
Seems odd as he's ranked above Bradley in the division rankings, yet in the P4P isn't.
It's not like Bradley's faced marked better competition than him either.
Timothy Bradley went to Junior Witter's backyard and took his belt. Ballsy.
Got back up to beat Holt after a messy first round knockdown.
Before Casamayor, Bradley's last three opponents had been Alexander, Abregu, Peterson (combined record: 77-0). Two of those fighters were supposed to be very solid wins: Peterson (who looked good against Khan and gave Ortiz fits), and a champion in Alexander (who was being hyped left and right...I didn't see why though).
Bradley's severely underrated, however, when the Khan negotiations fell apart A LOT of people turned their backs on him. It's hard to like a fighter when he was given a massive payday, a chance for the biggest win of his career, and then he goes and passes it up. I understand his situation and he was probably getting a bad deal with Gary Shaw. People criticize him for going over to Top Rank but I'm certain he'll make more money there than he ever would with Shaw behind him.
The only poster here who has stuck to his guns and backed Bradley since the whole mess is Rome-Byko (sp?)...
He has a point with his arguments but I understand Bradley detractors as well. I'm pretty optimistic that Bradley and Khan will meet down the road, though.
Dibs on the Bradley Express when the fight gets made...
also khan has been the favorite in all his fights, bradley has been a KNOWN UNDERDOG in previous fights and fought in his opponents backyard....... all to remain unbeaten, against the odds, thats quality stuff right there in of itself.
apart from what another poster had already put up, he has also been holding it down at 140...... khan is playing the drop down as low as I can physically go and when my body can't handle the weight cuts anymore, i'll just move up and keep moving up until I finally am fighting at the weight I am supposed to be fighting at, game/maneuver.....
Easy
Bradley: Devon Alexander 21-0 champion WBC and FIB, Lamont Peterson 27-0, Nate Campbell prime 33-5-1 coming to win against Diaz and Funeka, Kendall Holt 25-2 WBO champion, Junior Witter 36-1-2 Wbc champion, Casamayor past prime.
Khan: Zab Judah 41-6 past prime, Paul McCloskey 22-0, Marcos Maidana 29-1, Paul Malignaggi coming from the Hatton KO in my opinion past prime, Dmitriy Salita 30-1, Andriy Kotelnyk 31-2-1 WBA champion, Marco Antonio Barrera 65-6 past prime, lost against Breidis Prescott 19-0
Bradley win against better oponents, and prime fighters, and unificate titles
Judah beat Matthysse who people believe beat alexander
Kotelnik beat alexander and maidana
..
Suddenly that Alexander win on Bradleys resume doesn't look good at all.
No they aren't. Alexander before Bradley was un-proven. Post Bradley revealed him for being a hypejob.
Holt was never that big of a win. It was hyped to be a great fight. Holt was never anything special besides a paper champ. And is par with McCloskey in value of win.
Witter was vastly overrated. He's actually lesser than Judah. As Judah won and looked just as special but at least his losses are to comp 1000x better than Witter's.
Khan is simply better than Bradley. The REAL reason Bradley is ranked higher is, Khan has 1 loss. That is the serious reason why Khan isn't ranked above him.
Just like Ward and Bute. If Ward had more fights, he'd be ranked higher than Bute easily but Bute has more fights although both are undefeated and Ward has fought better comp.
No, he win against Winter, Urango and in my opinion loss in a closse fight against Klotelnik, better resume than Maidana
Maidana and Klotelnik are desent wins, but Alexander, Holt and Wintter are beter wins, Alexander before Bradley was better than Maidana

If you removed your head from your ass, you'd see and know why Bradley is better than Khan...like every other QUALITY Boxing fan out there already knows...
If you pulled your head out of your ass, you'd see in my own original post I note Ring having Khan at #1 in the division rankings above Bradley. So then, are they too wrong, and your right?
Here's a poll showing 85% of people voting that Khan's #1, not Bradley.

That's laughable. Paper champions don't equate great wins. Khan fighting Maidana alone ****s on that resume.

Maidana? He's a brawler... anybody who boxes him can win. Past prime, bloated morales would have had him if he wasn't old fighting with one eye.
Credit to Morales though because he's a beast already, but still

He was most certainly not prime at 140
Personally I dont think Bradley deserves to be in top 10 p4p, he is a nobody in my book. He doesnt deserve a shot at Pac or Mayweather, he needs to get in the ring with a top fighter, than ill give him some credit. His past two fights were some of the most boring fights id ever experienced.

Bradley's win over guys like Kendall Holt, Devon Alexander, and Junior Witter puts his resume over Khan's. Also Khan got KOed by a journey man, so I could definitely see why he is rated higher than Khan. Don't let a slow year for Bradly make you forget that he has been beating all the top guys that were available to fight.
