Any word on who will ref Cotto/Margarito?

I like Mercante but he had no business telling Clottey to man up and he was also responsible in the death of Beethaeven Scotland, he let the guy take too many punches. Did the same thing with Hurtado against Whitaker:

isn't mercante the guy that doesn't care if fouls are committed? he just lets you low blow and body slam your opponents to the ground(if your name is miguel cotto) "Act like a champion ya bum!" Clottey litteraly jumped up on Cotto's shoulder, and Cotto shrugged him off, like "get the f off me!" and Clottey went into actor mode, that's why the ref told him to man up.

I like mercante, i just hope cortez is nowhere to be seen I like bayless too, but in this instance he might be premature in stopping the fight (maybe rightfully so) Bayless and Cortez are from Vegas. There is 0% chance those two will be the third men in the ring that night.

I love Mercante as a ref. The guy did an outstanding job in the Cotto/Foreman fight. He gave Foreman a chance to take care of bussiness, most refs would of stoped that fight.

Hopefully Russell Mora! That way when the cheaters eye pops out in the 2nd round hell let he fight can go on.

Steve Smoger.. we need a ref that wont show any pitty when Margarito getting that face bashed in :firedevil Mercante will let them fight we saw it in Cotto-Clottey and Cotto-Foreman. Foreman busted his leg and Mercante refused to stop the fight even when Yuri's corner threw in the towel and he pretty much told Clottey to man up and get up lol.

Arthur Mercante is one of the best reffs in boxing. I think he should be the guy. He'll let these 2 fight plus hes entertaining..

not worried about ref. worried about doctor stopping fight if margarito gets cut near right eye.

Whoever the ref is, or even the judges, i just can't see this fight being close...it's gonna go one way or the other decisively, w/e wins. both guys leave no room for doubt. On a side note...If Arthur refs most of cotto's fight, would he really be fair? I don't remember him as being a crap ref...or making bad decisions...
