Am I the Only Flomo who tought Pacquiao Won?

Everyone was so hyped up by Roach and the media and all of past Pacquiao success at welterweight, they forgot: JMM is a pugilistic genius who has fought against Manny more than any fighter in the world. HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT PACQUIAO IS GOING TO DO. We set the bar to high and then when the KO did not come into fruition we viewed it as a loss. We gave JMM to much credit when in reality Pacquiao won early rounds and JMM took his foot off the brakes in the end in an already super close fight.

I don't get the outcry of robbery. Yes it could have gone either way but IMHO marquez didn't do enough in the earlier rounds to get back in the mid-late-rounds. He also lost 1-2 round in the late rounds. The compubox also shows pacquiao landed more, but marquez hitting the more crispier shots. I never thought it was a robbery. But one undeniable facts about the outcome is that Mayweather would whoops pacquiao's a$$. Or maybe people was so set in their belief that pac was superman that they are in denial about him getting a boxing lesson from marquez...

pac was never hurt on the fight. only by headbutts. if anybody care to watch the fight again, they'll see that jmm's punches were blocked

Read up on the term Priming (Psychology definition) I just talked about this in my Social-Psychology class and this is a classic example. People thought Manny would blow Marquez out, so when it didn't happen they gave Marquez more credit that they typically would. Combos that were blocked were considered clean by them, and the shots Manny did land, weren't considered significant due to them not hurting Marquez like they did his other opponents. (We were so use to what he did against Cotto, Marg, Clottey, and Hatton) Yep...this Pacquiao lost because he didn't blow Maquez away but the truth is that PAC did enough to win. It was ugly but PAC didn't lose this fight.

A robbery is Lara v Williams. This was a close fight and I had Marquez winning 115-113. But the word robbery is used to loosely Exactly....How is it robbery when you have fans split on the decision and judges etc This aint no RJJ at the Olympics

Marquez was winning with the momentum going his way heading into the 9th rd but PAC upped the tempo from 9-12 to get the win. People say PAC lost only because he didn't do as good as he was supposed to but he did enough to win the fight. This was no robbery.

Personally I'd have to watch the fight again but to me it looked like JMM was winning pretty easily though Pacquiao definitely had his moments. I can't say Robbery but it looked like JMM did enough to eek out a victory.
