Pacquiao just like Ali, has his nemesis, the guy that give him the most trouble in the ring.
They might be a cut above the rest but this guy gives them hell when they fight.
Marquez is Pacquiao's Frazier, a great fighter in his own right but, but has the style, heart and raises their game against the boxing superstar.
Pacquiao vs Marquez's first two fights were very close with the KDs just shading it, Pacquiao walking away with a draw and a SD
Ali and Fraizer shared a fight a piece in two well contested in the first two match up.
But going into the 3rd fight Ali was consider a heavy favourite, Frazier was KO by Big George in two rounds knocking him down 6 times, and Ali stunned the world by stopping the wrecking machine in 8 with a masterful boxing performance.
Ali was King again and Frazier past it, sould familar?
But their 3rd fight was epic, the Thriller in Manilla, a war, each man giving everything. Ali won in the end, due to Futch pulling Frazier out before the last round, but Ali paid a high price for victory.
Pacquiao is now at the top of the world and many think Marquez has seen better days.
Knowing the history of not only these two fighters but of boxing, you would have to be a fool to write the final part of this trilogy off.
The New York Times scored the bout 6-5-1 for Frazier as did others...
(I personally thought Ali won but at the time there were a good chunk of people that thought he lost again)
The only way Frazier won is if you deducted a lot of points from Ali for excessive holding, that score is ridiculous.
Bro, you cant say robbed. He was looking out for Joe's eyesight, at the moment decision.
Ali even admitted he would collapsed if he got up again.
He was looking out for Joe's life.
Marquez was robbed by the judges.
Frazier was robbed of glory by Eddie.

there are people who scored the second fight for fraizer as well...
The second fight was not close at all, Ali dominated it, Frazier still seemed mentally ****ed from the Foreman defeat it seemed and wasn't there at all where as Ali was in great shape and wanted his revenge.
Marquez also knows Pacquiao's game so well now.
Marquez is not as quick as Pacquiao slower reactions but his anticipation, is what makes the difference.
Does anyone think that these fighters raise their game when facing their chief rival?
With the size issue, both guys are the same size, Pacquiao needs proteins shakes to stay at welter, so does Marquez, only last time he tried it never took the shakes.
1971 Frazier 205lbs First fight.
1973 Frazier 209lbs Second fight
1975 Fraizer 215lbs Third fight.
Just over 4 year for the record.
And and increase of weight by 10lbs
His last fight was at 140lbs.
So he is coming up half a weight.
:rofl::rofl:
Not much in it. If I remember right Ali had to resort to some illegal tactics
He didn't ''have'' to resort too it, this was clearly Ali's fight, Frazier didn't even give it 60% but yeah he did hold an awful lot, more then usual.
Ugly ugly fight.
who wins? JMM or eddie murphy?
I heard JMM won two controversial fights against Pacquiao.
What I do know is that Eddie Murphy won by TKO against a homosexual person in less than 2 Minutes into the 2nd Round.
who wins? JMM or eddie murphy?
Marquez is an amazing future hall of famer fighter, HOWEVER, Eddie is a legend of legends.
I heard he once won a round without throwing a punch. I also heard he knocked out a horse.
