It seems that as soon as a British boxing legend retires, they suddenly become crackheads - Calslappy, Fatton are some of the more recent and biggest examples. Now that Gayevid has bid adios to boxing and hobbled into "acting" on his little swollen pinky toe, will a video surface of him doing lines from Booth's testicles?
Also a related question - how long before this retirement farce will be over and he has to come back to the squared circle to pay for his coke habit?
He said he wanted to fight Vitali, but I don't believe him. Why fight a man he has even less chance of defeating than Wlad? For less money? He didn't try too hard to make a Vitali fight happen.
Exactly. He doesnt care about legacy. Losing to Wlad wont affect him the way losing affected Ricky Hatton. Haye will thrive in the celebrity circuit.
Exactly, well said. It's more common than not for a fallen star to get into drugs and other self-destructive behaviour after they retire. Diva Gaye did not strike me as someone who was a grounded and humble person (like the Klitschkos for instance), so he will take his loss very seriously.
I dont think he cares. He got his paycheque and got out. If he really cared about the loss, he would've pushed for a Vitali fight or a rematch. Or tried harder in the first place.
I'd say reporting this thread like some little bratty kid in kindergarten running to the teacher is kind of "childish" as well.
Besides, it's a legit question. The evidence is there that many ex-boxers turn to things like cocaine to try to replicate the thrill of being in the ring. It's hard to replace the adrenal rush of athletic competition at the highest levels.
Whether Haye goes this route and becomes pals with "charlie" remains to be seen. Certainly it's possible.

I really did hope you’d have grown up, but this fishing for reaction is incredibly childish.
You are much better than that.
Indeed i openly apologised to you following the Wlad / Haye fight as many of the more serious points/predictions you made turned out to be absolutely true, so I’m disappointed, although not entirely surprised, to read this latest thread.
Please post sensibly, I’ll ensure this particular thread of yours is reported and i hope that next time you come back with the more grown up element of your nature, which is, in fact, very informative.
LOL ...
If you want to be this serious all the time perhaps this is not the site for you. Also, if your fragile sensitivities are so hurt by a benign thread like this one, then you should not be on the internet period.
If history has taught you anything, it should be that I am spot on about Gayevid. My latest prediction is that he will go into a personal life crisis, which will involve drug use and maybe a suicide attempt.
Gayevid always had a big ego but it was a fragile one and I don't think he can handle all the criticism that he is getting now. Plus he was delusional enough to think that he can beat Wlad so when Wlad actually beat him, that devasted him. I am sure he still has flashbacks of Wlad telling him "Mr. Flashy-flash...enjoy this, enjoy all the lights all the attention, because after July 2nd, it will all be gone... you are a wannabe".
Couple that with the fact that he won't be selling any more "bookazines" or that no one will pay him a dime to star in anything decent (maybe in man-on-man **** but that's about it) and that all the producers will just laugh in his face when he pitches himself as an action hero actor (who would buy him as a hero when his last act in boxing was to complain about a broken little pinky toe), he'll soon fall into a deep depression. Can't wait for that to happen...
