Yes! Back as a Filipino champ?
It's only taken a year as a Hawaiian knock out victim, but he's recognised once again as a great winning Filipino champ.

Because he's also blitzed two other great champions, and possible HOFers by brutal KO in fights that were meant to be even. Narvaez was unbeaten, had many, many more title defences than Adamek at over 20 all up, and the same amount of world title wins in different weight divisions and yet it was just a stay bust fight for Donaire. It's not one fight that determines P4P status. Also, Vitali had over 30 pounds weight advantage, and a massive, absurd height and reach advantage.
Narvaez was seen as just a stay busy type fight for Donaire. Adamek was one of Vitali's career highlights. It goes to show the difference between the two divisions and fighters. Donaire is lucky enough to have been able to fight some great fighters and dominate them. Vitali got stopped by the only great fighter he ever fought.
That's why.

vitali was....floyd was also more dominant vs baldomir than nonito was vs narvaez(both did not look good) but if we compare narvez to baldomir , im sure we can all agree omar>>>>> baldomir....

Great post
So why is Donaire in everyones p4p and Vitali isnt? He beat a multi-divisonal champ and killed him. Donaire fought...I dont know, somebody and was squeaking rounds.
Because he's also blitzed two other great champions, and possible HOFers by brutal KO in fights that were meant to be even. Not to forget Sidorenko, the long time WBA BW champ. However, Narvaez was unbeaten, had many, many more title defences than Adamek at over 20 all up, was also a multi division champ and yet it was just a stay bust fight for Donaire. Adamek is basically equal to Narvaez, but Adamek is probably Vitali's defining fight while Narvaez is just a tune up. It's not one fight that determines P4P status. Also, Vitali had over 30 pounds weight advantage, and a massive, absurd height and reach advantage plus it was against an offensive fighter with no defence.

You think Vitali should be a top P4P fighter because he beat Chad Dawson's left overs?

Adamek, of course.
Dominating an opponent, who's at a 30 pound disadvantage is the definition of pound for pound. Adamek's defense > Narvaez' defense too.
