Is it true Dirrell and Dawson spar/sparred? what was that like (if you was present).
Im not sure to tell u the truth...I never mentioned Andre or Anthony to Chad...names never came up...
I read Muhammad Ali's autobio when I was about 12...in it he said he never drank alcohol...that was good enough for me...true story...
Well have you had as many women as Ali as well??
Thanks for your reply on the weight earlier in the thread.
How many rounds did Dawson spar for this fight and was it more or less than he usually does?
great pics, is Roy Jones the best fighter you ever sparred/fought or do you think anyone you fought/sparred could have beaten him?
How would your own Chad Dawson have faired?
I always say that Roy Jones, James Toney, Henry Maske and Michael Nunn are the overall four best that I've been in with...and Chad is right there in that realm...when Chad is on his game, letting his hands go, being elusive, etc, he is right there...
damn scully you either really know how to take care of yourself or O.D.'ing on botox cus some of the pics you look like you're mid 20's. what's your secret bro lol
Ha, thanks man...if I have a secret it is this...and u may not believe me but...I have NEVER even tasted alcohol, done an illegal drug or smoked a cigarette in my entire life...plus I'm still in the gym every day and do a lot of sparring etc...I dont eat much junk food and almost never eat fried foods...I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables..so far so good LOL

HA, boxing with a guy like Lamar Parks you ask yourself what Nigel Benn asked himself after the McClellan fight..."How can a human being hit THAT hard?????!!!???"
Dont quote me but I THINK that's Gary Shaw's son...I was thinking the same thing, but, the thought of it is kinda funny. Usually w/ father and son there's some type of resemblance, good thing he didn't get his Dad's great looks, lol.
That's easy, LAMAR KIDFIRE PARKS...we fought twice as amateurs and sparred as pros...pound for pound he was the hardest (most SOLID) hitter...like he had little bowling balls inside his gloves...Man, I ask my friend, who kickboxed and was a pretty talented guy and got alot of experience from sparring high level Muay Thai fighters, what is the difference between a heavy-handed puncher w/ explosiveness in his punches compared to a decent puncher.
From his experience, he says, a world-class puncher, when they strike you, you feel their fist eventhough they're wearing gloves, and it's like their fist is piercing through your bone and the pain from the punch has a lingering effect.
Whereas, a decent puncher, you feel it, it's solid, but, it's not a bone-crunching feel.
Awesome thread Iceman. Who has hit you the hardest out of any fighter that you've fought/ sparred?
