What fighters (when hurt) would look funny trying to survive.
Cotto
Judah
Frazier and the running man
Hearns
Berbick
What other fighters looked funny trying to stay on their feet once their legs turned to jelly.
**** that, if you step in the ring you gonna put up with **** if you get ktfo. Plan and simple. These are modern day gladiators, so if the common person gets a little laugh at their loss so what? You want props cure cancer or AIDS. This thread was started with good intentions. Boxing is what it is. If you didn't want to see KO's then go watching the women's channel.
this thread was dissrespectful and you are too.
if you want to laugh turn on the comedy channel. this is a sport, a serious one at that and its nothing to laugh at. these are real ppl who work their asses of and risk their health to get in that ring, only a complete ******* would laugh at them when they are hurt.
that says it all doesnt it, who would laugh at someone whos seriously hurt? a smaller injury fine, but theres nothing small about most boxing related injurys. like you say boxing is what it is, serious buisness and nothing to laugh at.
nobody is complaining about KOs, we are complaining about ppl being dissrespectful. **** the womens channel, you clowns should get in the ring yourselfs and be made into women by the real men you are so quick to laugh at in the safety of your own home behind a computer or TV screen.
you say yourself fighters are gladiators, doesnt that mean they deserve some ****ing respect!

K-9 is a great guy, very humble and personable. I wrote up an article on him, if you look in my threads started history you will find it. I met Andy when he first came to Kronk, that was a good few years ago. Haven't seen him since.
I haven't been down there in a couple of years since I had my stroke. I'm not sure if it is even open anymore. But if you walked in there to train you'd better be ready to fight. All of those guys, even the beginning amatuers fight really hard. It's not your every day sparring. You would have to pay the rec center membership and then you could go down there. But know this, the first day they will throw you in to fight against another young and hungry fighter who will most likely kick your a$$. If you show up the next day after your beating they will begin to work with you. It's not a place for a casual boxer to enter. It's not a boxing club to say, it's a fighting gym and if you step in there you'd better be ready to go to war.......Rockin':boxing:
ive heard alot of great things about k-9, pretty sick that you know him, how was andy?
i would love to go to a gym like kronk, ive been training for a couple of yrs and gonna start amateur pretty soon
K-9 is a buddy of mine. He got caught cold and **** happened.
I believe that those who have never experienced combat in the ring are desensitized and feel as though they are watching characters in a fictional world of television. These are real people out there warring for their lives and their economic futures. I just can't see a true boxing fan making fun of a fighter in distress. If you've been in there and experienced the ring titling on a 45' angle on you from a blow to the temple and experienced the confusion and abstract thoughts that roll through your mind you would not make fun of these fighters. But being that almost none of you have any experience you could never know..........Rockin':boxing:
At first I thought this was funny but now I realize the TS is a douche. Bumping this next week
Its only a joke thread. Dont whine. I find it funny in certain situations when the mind and body clash over control , the body tends to win out but their pride causes their body to flail in humerous motions.
Some think it's "funny when a person slips, falls and breaks a leg..........
I find this thread to be ultimately disrespectable to the fighters aswell as the sport............Rockin':thumbsdow
I thoroughly agree with you. Boxing is a very tough business, nothing to laugh about whenfighters are hurt. Disgusting displays of lack of sportsmanship in fact.
That means that I have had many years in the competitive ring, amatuer and pro. It's not hard to smell bullsh1t like yours. Just post the article when you finally find a magazine that soley covers kick boxing and the amatuers........Rockin':loser:
Oh god, lol amateur and pros. LOL. The irony is hilarious here. Please stop.
I paid my dues.
Just post the article with the date clearly visible. With how un-popular kickboxing was in the mid 90's I find it hard to believe that a magazine even existed covering the amatuers. I think that you are full of sh1t........Rockin':boxing:
Lol (Paid my dues) what does that even mean. Frankly why am I even bothering or care what you think.
can't wait to see it. Tournament level, woooow LMFAO!!!!!......Rockin':boxing:
And you ? Your really high and condescending. You want to see the mad yet you probably wont give a **** once you see it. So whats the point.
wow, tournament level.
kickboxing had it's best days in the late 70's through the early 80's with Bad Brad Hefton.
you mentioned your age and when you fought (supposedly). That would have had you fighting around the year 2000, not exactly in kickboxings best days. Post up a picture of this supposed kickboxing article with you in it...........Rockin':boxing:
Try mid 90s my dude and your gonna have to wait a week since my mothers the only one that still has a copy of that magazine. I'll take a pic of it and upload it. Also its not really an article. The mag just showed your rankings for the state for that month/year. But frankly its not like Im really proud of that. I was a goddamn teenager.
